An international team of archaeologists and antiquities experts, led by the Qatar Museums Authority, have uncovered many of the artifacts which are displayed in the renovated fort.

This time I followed the group on a small loop in northern Qatar and got a deep sense of Qatar's history and culture, as well as its beautiful coastline to the north. The guide was very patient, the instructions were in place and took care of me along the way. Overall, it was a great experience.

The tour is good and the guide was very nice. He explained the history of Qatar to us, answered all our questions, and gave us water, snacks, juices, and a delicious iced mint tea.
Great tour of Northern Qatar; Sad couldn’t go to the Olafur Eliasson art installation as the road was closed. Only did 3 of the 4 itinerary but the rest of the experience was good.
