Nile Cruise Aswan to Luxor 4 Days with Abu Simbel

All in all the cruise was nice. Some things were annoying (e.g. insufficient air conditioning/fridge in our room on the cruise ship, late communication of the schedule for each day), but the tour guides and staff on the ship were great and definitely the strongest asset. Especially ending with Nervien in Luxor was a pleasure. She explained everything very well, answered all questions and gave us time on our own for pictures :)

We had a really great experience with Nervien in Luxor. We visited Luxor and Karnak Temple, Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple as well as an Alabaster Shop. Nevrvien explained a lot, answered all our questions and together with a really good driver it was a nice day in Luxor! Definetly recommend this tour.

I had an amazing experience in the 2night 3day cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Every stop was brilliant especially the last day in Luxor. I also would like to thank enjy as she was always available and responded very quick to ensure that everything went well on my trip. We also added on the sunrise hot air balloon ride in Luxor which was a memorable experience.

Overall, this was a very good experience cruising along the Nile River, especially for the opportunity to explore multiple temples in a comfortable and well-organized way. I paid around €450 (plus a 5% commission) for 4 days and 3 nights. Allegedly, I was upgraded from the cruise Mahrosa to the Semiramis 2, free of charge. Entrance tickets to the temples were not included and had to be paid separately. The overall atmosphere on board was very pleasant. The staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive, which made a real difference throughout the trip. There was supposed to be Wi-Fi on the cruise and it allegedly was, but we were never able to connect. Despite being washed and cleaned, the bed sheets were rough, old and pilled. The river vendors were a bit intrusive and sometimes it was strange to open the window and have them immediately there. The deck is definitely one of the highlights — while it’s not particularly baby-friendly, it’s a lovely space with shaded areas and sun loungers, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the views along the Nile. The food was good and consistent throughout the cruise. However, one significant downside is that no drinks are included with meals — not even water. Surprisingly, there is also no option to pay extra for an all-inclusive drinks package, which would likely be appreciated by most guests and would greatly improve the experience. Room cleaning was not outstanding, and the bathroom could definitely use some maintenance and improvements. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s an area that could be improved. The itinerary is interesting and includes visits to iconic sites such as the Temple of Edfu, but the organization was not always ideal. The least enjoyable part was the day we had to wake up at 4:00 AM to visit Edfu. Initially, this seemed necessary due to scheduling constraints, but we ended up arriving in Luxor around 3:00 PM, which made the early wake-up feel somewhat unnecessary. Additionally, the only way to reach the temple was by horse carriage, with no alternative option — something that may not be comfortable for all travelers. The quality of the guides was inconsistent. Some seemed to rely on memorized scripts without adding much insight, and at times it felt like they were just trying to move things along. Communication was occasionally difficult as well. Overall, despite some areas for improvement — particularly in scheduling, guide quality, and room maintenance — this is still a very worthwhile experience and a convenient way to explore Egypt’s historical sites.

The experience was fantastic, but it was significantly hampered by the fact that we were 2 adults and 2 children aged 12 and 9, and we only had 3 single beds. At no point were we told that there would only be 3 single beds and that to have 4 beds we would need 2 separate rooms. We complained to the crew, who didn't care and simply said that we should have booked two rooms, but this alternative was never offered to us.

Everything was well organized and well communicated through Whatsapp. The ship we were on was the Nile Crown III. It was modern and had good quality buffet. I was pleased with the value received. Our sightseeing was all planned out and we just pay for entrance fees and tipping. When you tip, you can tip in USD dollars, however anything less than $5 USD should be tipped in Egyptian pounds because they cannot exchange small bills. Also bills must be in new condition, no creases or folds. There wasn't a huge line to buy tickets cause the big tour groups tickets are purchased by their tour guides. We went in March. It was cold except for Luxor which I wasn't expecting. Bring layering clothing. There are early days but because of the time difference from Canada, I was already up anyway. I recommend this tour company.

This trip felt like a honeymoon. We chose the 4-night luxury Nile cruise and it was a romantic, beautiful experience from start to finish. We did the 4 Days / 3 Nights Nile - Dolphins Cruise from Aswan to Luxor with Deluxe Tours, and overall it was a beautiful and memorable experience. The ship was clean, comfortable, staffs were friendly and offered stunning views of the Nile throughout the journey. A major highlight was the hot air balloon safari in Luxor — a spectacular and truly breathtaking experience. Floating over the Valley of the Kings at sunrise felt magical and unforgettable. Our guide in Luxor was also very nice and made that part of the trip enjoyable. We did face some issues at Kom Ombo and Edfu. At Kom Ombo, our guide made us wait over 30 minutes and disappeared; the replacement guide then took us to the wrong cruise after we were done with sightseeing and didn’t warn us about overpriced kiosks. Edfu was slightly better. In the end, the cruise, the scenery, and the balloon adventure made this trip unforgettable. We definitely recommend the Nile Dolphins Cruise and Deluxe Tours, and look forward to seeing even better guiding at all stops.

The activities were very interesting and beautiful. The boat was okay, the room nice, but there was no Wi-Fi. Food was average with enough variety. Early starts but worth it.”
