Nightwalk Monteverde by Pablos natural tour

Pablo is an excellent guide who clearly enjoys teaching his clients about the wildlife and plants that are found in the cloud forest. Our entire family loved this tour and we were lucky to see so many creatures! You won’t regret booking with Pablo!

Pablo was a great guide: friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited about everything we found, like a little kid. Thanks to him, we spotted frogs, insects, and a mama sloth with her baby. He made sure everyone got a turn looking through his scope.

We booked a tour in Spanish, and I kindly emphasized that it should be in Spanish due to how complicated it was to find Spanish tours in Costa Rica. He told me it would be in Spanish, and upon arrival, he changed the plan and said it would be in English and Spanish. Needless to say, the experience was quite frustrating because for both the guide and the visitor, it is definitely not the best. We would have liked to be informed that it would be in two languages.

10/10 amazing tour. Saw so many creatures of the jungle. Pablo is patient, smart, and speaks English and Spanish equally well. This was my favorite experience in Costa Rica. I highly recommend this!

This was probably my favorite experience during my time in Monteverde. I saw so much wildlife, far more than I would have been able to see on my own. Pablo is a great guide, very friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10!

Pablo is a cool guy and was funny. He knew a lot and could answer all our questions. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the best view of the nocturnal animals. The reserve was VERY busy with lots and lots of night walks starting at 8 p.m. The animals hid as soon as they were spotted. But that’s just how it goes in nature. Still, it was a cool experience. I didn’t like that we had a linguistically mixed group and the guide noticeably spoke more with the Mexican guests in Spanish, with translations only provided upon request. That made us feel like we were just tagging along instead of really being part of it. Very unfortunate. Also, the flashlights were of very different quality. Ours were very dim. We also couldn’t take photos like the ones shown in the tour preview. It was all harder than we expected! Overall, the tour was cool, but the experience and value for money were a little lacking.

Pablo was a great guide and showed us many different animals and gave us a lot of information about the nature in Monteverde. It was great!

Pablo is a great guide. The tour was great! We have seen many animals and learned a lot of interesting facts. There was always enough time for photos. He is also happy to help you get a good photo. And he makes the most of the time available: when we came back, the parking lot was already empty and everyone else was long back:-)
