Nightlife Bar Hopping Adventure in Ulaanbaatar

Join us for an unforgettable night out in Ulaanbaatar! Our bar hopping tour takes you to the best bars and pubs, from trendy spots to local favorites. We will explore 3 unique bars and pubs, each with a distinct atmosphere. Ranging from traditional Mongolian pub Modern Nomads, Ikh Mongol where you can drink savor signature cocktails and traditional Mongolian beverages to more modern bar that has mixed culture and serves global beverages. Each place up to two drinks. Learn fascinating stories about Ulaanbaatar’s nightlife from myself. I am something of a storyteller. Late-Night Fun: End the tour at a lively venue with dancing or live music. We are spending one (1) hour at each of the three places, which add up to three hours of activity. Total travel time would be approximately 40 minutes with each back-and-forth walk taking 20 minutes, with 20 more minutes at each place to wait for an order. Which makes the total duration exactly 4 hours as planned.

Three wonderful weeks in Mongolia. Start and end of stay in Ulaanbaatar. The fat cat jazz club is an ideal place to end an evening with a couple or friends.
Tengis is very knowledgeable about Ulaanbaatar's night life. He is the guy to contact if you want to know the best bars and clubs. At the same time, he is very outgoing too.
I had an unforgettable night bar hopping with Tengis in Ulaanbaatar. He’s not just a guide—he’s a storyteller, historian, and nightlife insider all in one. We explored a mix of trendy cocktail bars, cozy hidden spots, and lively local pubs, each with its own vibe and story. Along the way, Tengis shared fascinating insights into Mongolian culture, history, and daily life, adding so much depth to the experience. If you enjoy good drinks, great company, and want to see a side of UB most tourists miss, an evening with Tengis is a must.
Tengis took us around showing us places we never would’ve found on our own. His English is very good and we had an absolute ball. One of the bars he originally planned on taking us to was packed so he course corrected and we went to another one. Overall had just a great night seeing the city and learning about life in Ulaan Baatar from a local. Can’t recommend doing this tour enough.
Tengis is a wonderful guide. He took us to bars/pubs that we would have never found on our own. His English is excellent, and is a very good communicator! Highly recommend!
