Picked up late due to very heavy traffic in a small 12 seater minibus which was very warm. Was very concerned as we thought this was going to be our tour bus!! We were then taken to a large air conditioned bus at the Ferris wheel and introduced to our guide thank goodness! Trip was fabulous however it was very fast paced and we were struggling to keep up with the walking. The light show was superb at Marina Bay and also at the Trees . Marina barrage in the dark really wasnt worthwhile although the city view lights were pretty. We were given water by the guide who was extremely informative and interesting.
Great communication for pick up times, driver was very knowledgeable and took us to great spots. Mini bus was air conditioned and very comfortable, they also has water if needed. Lovely people, highly recommended
I felt like I saw everything I needed to in this tour that lasted for about 4 hours. It all went smoothly and Don is a friendly, congenial guide. I would recommend it as a comprehensive overview of the sights. It was exciting seeing the Merlion up close, the riverboat ride was cute and it was a comfortable sized group of us tourists. They provided bottled water, and the hotel pick-up and drop-off was super helpful. I liked riding on the bus too, and even made a friend with another solo girl traveller.
The organizer makes sure that we had the best experience and cater for our needs perfectly. They helped to notify us that our wallet was left in the coach
Good way to see Singapore in the evening/night. The tour guide was fun. Be ready to explore some of the stops by yourself. Overall, I would recommend this experience.
Don’t book this tour on Singapore’s National Day. The traffic was horrendous and utter chaos so we didn’t get to experience much of what was advertised. It should never have gone ahead. The river cruise was not even a night cruise. So very disappointing and I would request a refund if I could.

Singapore’s National Day is a major public event, and while we always do our best to manage traffic and crowds, some level of disruption is unavoidable across the city. Despite the congestion, the tour did proceed with all scheduled segments, including the river cruise, both light shows, and key landmarks. All guests were informed in advance that slight delays might occur due to road closures and heavy crowds during the festivities. As for the river cruise, it is always done during daylight hours, as shown in our photos and description. The “Starry Night” refers to the later parts of the tour — specifically the Supertree Grove and Spectra light shows — not the boat ride itself. While we understand the National Day crowds may have impacted your personal enjoyment, the tour was delivered as advertised and adapted to the day’s special circumstances. We always recommend guests review the tour description and consider local events when planning their schedule.
Do not book this!!!! Our tour guide eventually just bailed on us it was that bad!!! We got less than 10% of what was promised on the itinerary, spent 40mins walking up and down a crowded mall, got 4 mins of the garden show no marina bay show and under a minute of fireworks…… we had to get out in the middle of a main road to see this!!! Totally ridiculous so eventually we asked to be taken home early. They should never have run this tour. Last night in Singapore RUINED both Viator and tour operator refusing any refund!!! Got offered a partial tour for tomorrow (we fly home) and wouldn’t trust them even if we could attend!!!! AVOID!!!!
This review is misleading and omits key facts. The tour on 9 August 2025 was operated with National Day adjustments due to large crowds and road closures, explained to all guests before departure. Your group agreed to proceed after being given the option of a full refund at that time. You experienced the river cruise, Gardens by the Bay light show (shortened to ensure timely arrival for the bonus National Day fireworks), and the fireworks themselves. The Marina Bay show was scheduled for 10pm and communicated to you, but you chose to leave early before it began. Other guests attended the same tour under identical conditions without complaint. We regret you did not enjoy the evening, but the claim of “less than 10% delivered” is not accurate.
This is hectic but worth it - you fit in multiple night sights and that makes it great value. It would take you three nights to DIY. Ivy the tour guide was a delight and very efficient, sheparding us around and successfully meeting some tight timings. Great to have their transport too - quick access in and out of attractions.
The tour operator was very accommodating- my flight got delayed and he called me about to pick me up from my hotel. When I told him what happened he immediately offered to put me on the tour the next night. We did the river cruise then went to Marina Bay Sands to watch the light show then to the Marina Bay Garden to watch another light show in the super groove. We also stopped by Merion Park. Don was very informative and funny and kept the group informed. It was well organized and well worth the price!
Pre-trip communication was confusing from multiple contacts. Pick-up was only confirmed less than an hour before the time which meant I had already ordered a Grab which I still had to pay for because of late cancellation. Gardens by the Bay lightshow was cancelled and when we went to the alternative at Sentosa most of us had no idea what we were supposed to be looking at. Good bits were the river cruise and water show at Marina Bay Sands.
Thank you for your feedback, but let’s be clear. Your pickup details were sent at 3:45 PM — nearly two hours before the tour, which starts at 5:30 PM. You acknowledged the message promptly, so there was no delay on our part. Choosing to pre-book a Grab before receiving official instructions was your own decision and not our responsibility. Regarding the Gardens by the Bay light show, it was cancelled due to scheduled maintenance, something entirely out of our control. Instead of cancelling the segment, we went out of our way to bring the group to a premium alternative at Sentosa, which is further away and costlier to operate. This was done purely as a courtesy to ensure guests still had a full, high-value experience. It’s unfortunate that you chose to focus on personal assumptions rather than the actual effort made to accommodate unexpected changes. We’re glad you enjoyed the cruise and Marina Bay show, but the rest of your review misrepresents the facts and overlooks the effort our team made to deliver a great evening despite circumstances outside our control.
