This tour promised a lot and delivered little. We were supposed to be provided with an audio guide and there was a plug in at each seat where you could connect and select your language etc, however we were never provided with the headsets. When we asked the driver why not he just waved us away and pretended like he didn't understand english. So we saw lots of lovely buildings/bridges/streets, but had no idea of their significance or what we were looking at. Very disappointing.
We booked this night bus tour because a German audio guide was explicitly offered at the time of booking. That was exactly the reason for us to choose this company. But unfortunately, it was not available! In the email after our complaint, however, the company claimed that the headphones were clearly visible for everyone at the entrance and we just had to take them. We cannot confirm that. There were four of us and none of us saw any headphones at the entrance or anywhere else on the bus. In the entire bus, we only noticed two guests with headphones at their seats. When we were taken to the upper deck by a staff member, we asked about the headphones and were told that no headphones were available. As a result, we were able to follow the entire tour without explanations and had no idea which sights we were seeing at the time. The illuminated city at night is beautiful, but without information, the tour loses its actual purpose. The company's reaction to our complaint was particularly annoying: We were told that we should have asked for headphones ourselves. Regardless of the fact that we did ask for them, we see it differently. If an audio guide is part of the booking, it should naturally be made available to all guests or at least actively offered. Unfortunately, we do not feel taken seriously and would not book this tour with this provider again.
Didn't use audio. This is the best way to see the main parts of the city, great at night. Great value for money.
Good time to go since the sun was already down and the air was cool on the top of the bus. Got to see all the main tourist attractions.
Value for money good experience to see city
This was very helpful to do on day 1 of our 3 days in Ho Chi Minh. Also do this at night! Day time too hot and this is a beautiful night city. I also recommend doing during the week. Weekends e road areas closed and traffic around causes delays to a 1 hr tour. Plus when roads closed walking is wonderful (except some nauseating city street access). Booking time doesn't matter too much. You get in line and get on anytime after purchase.
Not really sure what the point of this was. You have to bring your own 3.5 mm headphones to listen to the supposed audio guide. We just drove around some random places, seeing only a small portion of noteworthy attractions. You get the same experience just riding a cab from the airport. The worst part was probably the open air bus meaning breathing in exhaust fumes from the traffic for about an hour. Me and my company, we all had sore throats directly afterwards. Skip this one.
Great way to view the city at night I recommend yhe night because its cooler and the city lights are amazing
You get nothing that is on the itinerary no earphones or map or water just driving around and we didn’t have a clue as to what we were looking at
This was a convenient way to see the city at night and all the lights without stopping off. We enjoyed it and got to see a different perspective
