This is a fantastic trip that is a must do activity if you are visiting Pisco Port. Joel was brilliant from us making the booking, to collection direct from the port side, guidance and help at the airport. His communication was spot on after us making the booking, a message the day before our trip and updates on the morning of our trip. Please have confidence in booking any trips with Joel
This is the only way to view the Nazca Lines. Well worth the time and money! I was able to photograph nearly every single image, and mind you I was seated on the wing… Meaning I had to edit every single photo… BUT… I got the shots!
Our booking was cancelled because Crown Princess bought all the seats. No moral. JD Adventure travel sold our seats because Princess bought more expensive price. JD is ship excursion agent, so Princess bought just 3 days before and sold 1400AUD to guests. Our Tripadviser price was US$400, so JD cancelled our booking. The morning, we met JD and found they sold our seats to Princess. We are also guests of Crown Princess. So rude way. If you are with Princess, or the same day with Princess, give up. Your seats will be cancelled suddenly. If not the same day, you can go to port which cruise ship bus will take you for free, there lots of tours are on sale including Nazka Lines flights and the cheapest. $350 with El Dorado, they have office, some guides are standing after building with WiFi. JD is so irresponsible, because of JD, we couldn’t go Nazka. Almost ruin our day. But we could buy Pisco and lots of clothes, there, cheaper than Lima. Good shopping. Fun place. Enjoy!
We are truly sorry to read your comments, though we must clarify that much of what you have written is unfortunately taken out of context. First and foremost, our company operates entirely independently. We do not run, nor do we sell, any excursions for Princess Cruises. Your suggestion that your places were taken by them is therefore incorrect. When you placed your booking, our team immediately reached out to you several times through the Viator platform and also via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, you never responded to any of those messages. It is the responsibility of each customer to check their messages and booking portal for important updates. Your tour was in fact cancelled immediately after your purchase because no spaces were available at that time. We regret this deeply, but the situation was beyond our control. We pride ourselves on clear communication and reliable service, and it is disappointing to see such an inaccurate description of the events.
JD Travel did an amazing job coordinating this Nazca flight/transfers. Jose went above and beyond to make sure we could participate in this activity. It did not disappoint! The flight time was moved by the airline and Jose made every effort to help us with this change. I could not recommend this activity or JD Travel more. Jose is the best!
Thank you so much for your lovely words and kind recommendation! It was truly a pleasure to assist you with your Nazca adventure, and I’m very glad everything worked out smoothly in the end. Sometimes schedules shift unexpectedly, but I’m always here to make sure you enjoy the experience without stress. I'm thrilled you had a memorable time, and I hope to welcome you back for more unforgettable moments in Peru!
Be careful, no refunds means no refunds. Was on a cruise, ship decided not to call at Pisco due to recent political unrest in Peru. The tour operator was very friendly and helpful while we discussed options by email and whatsapp, offered to bring us from Lima by car - 3 hrs each way. Other tours from Lima take up to 17 hours, and as we were flying to UK next day decided reluctantly to cancel. Asked for a refund as not our fault, they didn't even bother to reply.
Great way to see the Nazca Lines. Skip the long drive to Nazca by catching a flight from Pisco. Friendly pilots. Anti-Nausea pills suggested if you have trouble in planes that dip and turn.
Visit the nazca lines from Pisco or Paracas, is the best way and saving hours of driving to nazca. we invite to book this activity if you stay in Paracas, thank you for the nice review
Amazing tour organized by las adventure Android I book by my own and my Friends by viator and we had wonderful time with very professional tour Guide and he had the information & the knowledge that every visitors needs to kmow. I really reccomend to book this shore excursión by las adventure. Do notas forget to bring suncream and cash for local expenses, not much business acept cards.
Although this was a FASCINTATING excursion, we have several concerns about the way it was advertised. My husband and I were on this trip as a shore excursions from General San Martin Post. LAS ADVENTURES was very quick to respond to my emails enroute about pick up times and location. They were waiting as we exited the ship. We also had a very pleasant guide that accompanied us to and from the airport. However, there were several issues with the trip: *The description for the tour online clearly states it is a “short excursion” and that the flight was from the nearby Pisco Airport. However, we left the port at 9:15, drove over an hour to an oasis where we stopped and waited because we were told our flight time was at 12:00 at an airport in Ica, Peru. When we got to the airport, we were told that cloudy weather in the AM had pushed back the morning tours and our time had also been pushed back. It appears that we were taken on the “Nazca Lines and Haachina Oasis” tour ($365.00) instead of the “Paracas Shore Excursion: Nazca Lines” tour ($377.50) that we had booked and paid for. *Prior to leaving the port, I was assured that we would be back to the ship by 3:00 (all passengers were supposed to be on board by 3:30 and the ship was due to leave at 4:00). Since our flight time was delayed, our guide told us that the company had been in touch with the ship and that the departure time was moved to 5:00 and this change would allow us just enough time to complete the flight and get back by in time. We were also told that other ship excursions were also delayed. This was not true. *The flight was very rushed, not a 90 minute flight over the lines since most of the flight was getting to the lines and getting back to the airport. Also, the advertised “informative pilot” did little more than point out the figures on each side of the plane. *The advertised bottle of water was not provided. *We got back to the ship at 4:05 and it was quite evident that the ship’s departure time had not been moved to 5:00 as we had been informed by the guide. The ship left the dock within 15 minutes of the time we boarded. We came extremely close to missing the boat. I would not recommend this as a cruise excursion. Too risky.
Dear Patricia, Thank you for your review, but your bad review towards us is very unfair, to start with, I want you to know that we can not control weather conditions and we can not control airlines terms and condition by changeing airport. Everything was planned to flight from Pisco airport but unfortunately we were informed at 9:00am at the same day of your tour, that all flights from Pisco were cancel due to an emergency landing from another airline and the aiport was closed so there was no way that you will be able to flight from Pisco, also weather wasn't that great which also caused a delay. the only solution from the airline was to change airport and flight everybody from Ica. We may failed to inform at the time but we tried to find solution as the easies solution at the time was the cancelation of the whole flight but again this wouldn't be a nice option for you as many people comming all this way to see this incredible lines and end up no having a tour, We had no choise! It is a first time that this situation happens and is not like happens every single day so your coment for me its very unfair. With regards the departing time of the ship. We do know that the captain always say departure at 3 pm but we have been working for more than 13 years and we do know all cruises lines departure time so there was no risk AT ALL!. We do know that you will stick to your coments but again very unfair. Thank you Jose D.
Guide and actual flight over the Nazca Lines were great....five stars. But rated three stars because we almost missed the ship! The flight was not out of Pisco, which is near the port. Instead, it was from Ica which is over an hour drive each way. We were not notified of the change...and the description still falsely says it leaves from Pisco. Ship travelers beware!
Dear Sir/Madame. Thank you for your review. The reason why the airport was changed, was because there was an emergency landing from another airline and this caused the closure of the airport for a few hours, making all flights from pisco canceled and moving all flights from Ica, This was something unexpected and we were informed at 9 am same day of the tour so there was a good comunication so by the time we foudn out we took the option of flying from Ica airport. As a Tour Operator unfortunately we can not control the weather and we can not control unexpected situation and decition by the airlines We are hear to bring and deliver travel experience and solution for any incovenience. With regards of the departure time of your ship. We do know all cruises lines as we have been working for more than a decade and many of the cruises always say departure is a 3 but actually the ship alsway departure at 5 so there was no risk at all. anyway I'm very glad you are safe and enjoying your trip. Thank you once again. Kind regards Jose D
Well worth seeing, but the small plane does twist and turn a lot, left us all feeling queezy. The sites were still worth it though.
Dear Andrew, Thank you very much for your reviews Iu hope you can vist us again. all the best. Kind regards Jose D
