Experience the Panama Canal from two incredible perspectives: the tropical nature of Lake Gatun and the live operation of the locks. The adventure begins at the Gamboa Pier, where we sail through Gatun Lake, a key part of the Channel Basin. As we roam the forest and calm waters, you will be able to observe wildlife such as monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, hawks and sloths (sightings depend on nature). We will visit the famous Monkey Islands, where you can see species such as marmosets/tamarins and capuchin monkeys in their habitat. Then we will go to the Visitor Center, where you will understand how the Canal works and see the transit of ships in real time in this wonder of world engineering. This tour is ideal if you are looking for an experience that combines wildlife, scenery and the Canal in one day. Let’s get to the point where the Panama Canal transits begin and end, as well as having unique views of Panama City. Includes transfer time to Amador Causeway.

We begin our tour arriving at the port of Gamboa, where we will begin our exploration within the Panama Canal Watershed. Includes transfer time to the pier.
We pass through the second bridge built over the Panama Canal where we will be able to observe the start of the famous Corte Culebra and the entrances of the Locks of Pedro Miguel, Miraflores and Cocoli.
