Some lunch at a traditional Japanese restaurant Enjoy lunch at a well-established restaurant in an old Japanese town!
Explore Kasugayama Primeval Forest and Kasuga Taisha. Kasuga Taisha Shrine is located in Kasugano-cho, Nara City, Nara Prefecture. It is one of the 22 shrines in the Shikinai Shrines and one of the 22 Shinto shrines. Formerly a kanpeitai-sha, it is now an annexed shrine of the Jinja Honcho (Agency for the Promotion of Shinto Religion). The former name of the shrine was Kasuga Shrine, and the crest of the shrine is a “falling wisteria”. It is the head shrine of approximately 1,000 Kasuga shrines throughout Japan. It is registered as one of the “Cultural Properties of Ancient Nara” on UNESCO's World Heritage List.

I was running half an hour late and the guide was ready to accommodate me right away. He gave me a new meetup point. He also provided crackers for the deers and accompanied my dietary restrictions. He took a bunch of pictures which was so wonderful for me as I was a solo traveler. Thank you so much for the experience and explanation. I really enjoyed the trip. 🥰

Great guide, really enjoyed our time! Guide was knowledgeable, personable and knew all the tricks! A great memory for our family
Yuuki was very clear in the explanations she gave during the visit, giving us acquaintance with Japan’s culture, customs and history, while also showing us the monuments and bambis.
Shin Takeda was wonderful!! So knowledgeable, funny, courteous. 10/10.
Delicious and interesting tour today! Highly recommend

We booked the private 1/2 day tour Yuuki was an incredible guide! We immediately felt a great rapport with her and her British accent was superb for an American couple. We spent 5 hours with her seeing the sights of Nara. Not only was she able to answer every question we posed( we were both history majors) she translated everything we asked her to Lunch was exceptional and she guided me to the perfect souvenir shop which had exactly what I had been looking for all over Japan for the past week Had the deer food in her bag the entire time so fed the deer throughout the day Would be the perfect guide for any primary English speaking tour esp with teens Caveat— blond hair and piercings, which reminded me of my kids at home. Not the guide for anyone who would be uncomfortable with that appearance. She was brilliant and recommend her enthusiastically I consider this tour to be “easy” in degree, but there are quite a few stairs and some uphill walking. Saw many families with strollers but no wheelchairs
Thank you so much for your thoughtful and detailed review! We're delighted to hear that you had such a wonderful experience exploring Nara with Yuuki. It means a lot to know that her knowledge, communication skills, and personalized recommendations helped make your day special. We're especially happy that she was able to answer your history questions, assist with translations, and even help you find the perfect souvenir! Thank you again for joining us, and we hope to welcome you back for another memorable adventure in Japan!
