We were there in July for our honeymoon and, on the recommendation of a friend, we hired this company to carry out our activities in Zanzibar. The three three-day excursions we took were exceptional, and our guide, Mohamed, was the best guide of our entire vacation in Tanzania. He is an exceptional, kind person; he is very friendly, very involved, and makes sure you have a good time and enjoy yourself. Furthermore, he speaks Spanish perfectly. It was an incredible experience. We are taking home a great friend from Zanzibar, and as we told him, we hope to see you in Spain very soon. We 100% recommend this company, the activities it offers, Mohammed, and his drivers. If we were to go to Zanzibar again, we would repeat with them.
We had a wonderful day out, picked up promptly from our hotel in Paje and taken across the island to Stone Town where we first visited Prison Island. We had plenty of time to explore and the highlight was meeting the giant tortoises. From Prison Island, we went to the sandbank which is beautiful, we were able to snorkel and get some amazing photos but the highlight here was lunch! So much seafood! Shrimp, lobster, calamari and octopus, with chips, drinks and fresh fruit after. After that we went to Stone Town where we were given a tour of the area, our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, we had a fantastic day and we were well looked after, I definitely recommend this trip!
Thank you very much Vicky It was really nice to meet you and did a tour with you I wish you all the best with the rest of your vacation 😊

Our experience with Yazan Tours in Zanzibar has been, simply put, exceptional. From the very first moment, Jazam organized everything flawlessly, always attentive to every detail and making our vacation unforgettable. We were lucky to have Mohamed as our Spanish-speaking guide, and we could not have asked for anyone better. He is a great professional: kind, approachable, patient, and with incredible knowledge of the island. He speaks Spanish perfectly, explains everything with passion, and makes every excursion much more special. At all times we felt accompanied, safe, and as if we were discovering Zanzibar with a friend. During our stay we enjoyed unforgettable experiences: we swam with dolphins, visited the fascinating Prison Island, discovered spectacular corners of the island, and tasted delicious seafood. The fact of having a private guide made everything much more comfortable, flexible, and personalized, always adapting to our interests and pace. If you are thinking about visiting Zanzibar, do not hesitate to choose Yazan Tours and, if you can, ask for Mohamed as your Spanish-speaking guide. Thanks to them we took home incredible memories and an experience that exceeded all our expectations. Thank you so much, Yazan and Mohamed, for making our trip an unforgettable adventure! Without a doubt, we will return and recommend you to all our family and friends.
Thank you very much Javier It was really nice to meet you and did a tour with you I wish you all the best with the rest of your vacation 😊
The excursion was top-organized, from the pickup at the hotel to the city, sandbank, Prison Island, and the return transport to the hotel. We were very satisfied. Above all, the tour guide took a lot of time and answered all questions, and also waited patiently until we had finished all our souvenir shopping. Yazantours is recommended for this excursion!!!
Thank you very much Gregor It was really nice to meet you and did a tour with you I wish you all the best with the rest of your vacation 😊
You start with a small boat heading to Prison Island where the Italian guide (Abu) explains a bit of everything to us and lets us visit the island inhabited by centuries-old tortoises but also by peacocks and other birds. Then you go to Nakupenda where you stop for lunch under gazebos created on the spot with seafood, meat, and plenty of fruit. Obviously enjoying this strip of land that disappears at high tide for sensational photos and clear water where you can also go snorkeling. After that, you return to Stone Town, and it was nice to walk around listening to some history of the city through the characteristic alleys, where you can certainly find everything for your souvenirs. In my case, they also acted as a taxi, picking me up from Kendwa and taking me to Pongwe at the end of it all. Thank you, thank you very much, or as they say, "Asante Sana"!
Thank you very much Vitor It was really nice to meet you and did a tour with you I wish you all the best with the rest of your vacation 😊
Our guides (Yahir and Yaya) were fun, knowledgeable and really took care of us. If I could change one thing about the tour, I would start with the stone town walking tour and then move onto prison island and end with Nakhipenda.
Mohammed is a very good guide and great singer. Loved the tour and enjoyed our lunch. Highly recommend it!
Our guide was very informative and shared so much interesting history and local knowledge throughout the tour. The giant tortoises were absolutely amazing to see up close, and the walk through Stone Town was fascinating. It was a great way to learn about the area's rich culture and history. A big thank you to all the guys involved in making the day so enjoyable. We really appreciated your friendliness, professionalism, and hospitality.
Thank you very Kristen Welcome again
Such an awesome experience. The sandbank was breathtaking, and the beachside lunch with fresh seafood was delicious! They give you a great portion size and continuously make sure you’re well fed and taken care of. There was also local entertainment on the sandbank. The tortoise sanctuary was awesome! We got to also see peacocks and other animals, which wasn’t expected. Then the Stonetown walking tour was the icing one cake. We got to learn so much about Zanzibar’s history and culture. We walked the streets of stone town seeing different architecture and stopped at a spice market where we could purchase spices. This was a 10/10 experience. Our tour guide Hashir was so cute and informative! Very friendly and polite!
