A full day trips dedicate Prison island giant's tortoises visit, snorkeling, sunbathing tast of seafoods and seasonal fruits. The adventure starts from zanzibar Port with our local motorboat we ride towards Prison island, this island the native called ''CHANGUU" that means '' GIANTS TESTUDIAL" 35 minutes to across the sea, we visit the tortoises and the island, than our adventure will continue forward off snorkeling Prison island, viewing stunning array of colored corals and tropical fish of the island before reaching our beautiful place Nakupenda. A place where brilliant birdlife exists, very white sand, limpid and crystalline water. You would live in the natural reserve that hospitable by its naturalistic and their proper pearls of Indian Ocean. Enjoy our seasonal fruits, sand bathing and our seafoods lunch relax on sunbank natural resort than going back to stone town.

Prison island was very cool , learnt a lot about the history of the island , felt a bit rushed though . Nakupenda sandbank was beautiful , locals pester you constantly to buy things . Highlight for us was seeing the giant turtles . Tips expected !
Do not miss the Neverland and its magic. Great barbecue on the beach and to see the giant turtles on prison island.
This excursion is cool, Ali our cook for the barbecue and driver of the canoe was super nice and we took very beautiful photos of the sandbank and the starfish. In short, a beautiful day, too bad the sellers and peddlers.. .

Nakupenda and prison island are a must if you visit Zanzibar. I was so lucky to have booked it with Fatma and Ali. We spent all day together and what I loved was the fact that both were super caring, agile hospitable, making sure that I was having a good time. Also for being very friendly, approachable and have great conversations. Both have excellent knowledge about history, culture of Zanzibar, shared in a beautiful way, responding to all my questions etc … would definitely book other tours with them if I had the chance to …
We had a wonderful tour with Ali! He took us to prison island and stone town and was very informative and patient with us, he answered all of our questions and had so much knowledge on the history of the place and the culture. We highly recommend him!!!!
