Tour Guide Yuki was sensational!

Yuki was absolutely fabulous. She took us to the Shiroyama School. We were the only ones there. Yuki showed us everything and we took our time. She timed it so when we went to the Atomic Bomb Museum it was less crowded. Those 2 places were extremely emotional. We toured the Peace Park then had a lovely lunch. We bonded with her so much we’re friends on Facebook!

Experience Nagasaki

Yuki, our guide, loves Nagasaki and showed us the highlights and exposed us to a restaurant for a very well known selections of Chinese foods, popular in Japan. She moved at a very comfortable pace so we could stop to examine local goodies and treats. She exposed us to very interesting facts about Nagasaki in a fascinating on going conversation. Offered us places we might to discover on our own. Great Nagasaki experience

Nagasaki visit

From the very beginning, even before our trip,Yuki communicated clearly and promptly in excellent English, which made planning very easy. She asked about our interests in advance and helped tailor the itinerary so we could see exactly what we wanted during our time in Nagasaki. We were delighted that for the tour she greeted us wearing a vintage Japanese kimono, which added a special cultural touch to the experience. Throughout the day, Yuki was incredibly knowledgeable about both the city and Japanese culture, sharing many interesting facts and stories that brought the places we visited to life. She was also extremely punctual and well organized, keeping a close eye on the time to make sure we returned to our cruise ship comfortably and without any stress. Her attention to local customs, polite manner, respectful, empathetic and thoughtful approach made the tour of Nagasaki feel very authentic. Overall, Yuki was an informative, professional, and very personable guide. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting Nagasaki who wants a well-organized, culturally rich, and enjoyable tour experience.

Good Tour Guide In Nagasaki

We had a good tour with Hero. He showed us the sights we were most interested in seeing since we had already been to Nagasaki. He was pleasant, knowledgeable and happy to navigate us on the tram to multiple spots. He even went out of his way to find a glass shop where we could buy bidro. This doesn’t have anything to do with Hero but the only concern with this company was that after booking months in advance, they advised they wouldn’t confirm our itinerary until 2-3 weeks prior. We were away for over 5 weeks and would have liked to know that our requests would be accommodated much earlier than that time. At 2 weeks we still didn’t have a confirmation until we requested it yet again. If we are paying for a non refundable tour then the details should be available much earlier.

Nagasaki walking tour

We visited Nagasaki on a stop while on a cruise. It was a great experience. We hired a tour guide for a few hours to do a walking tour. It was very informative and a pleasant way to spend the day. Yuki Kato was our guide and she is delightful. She is knowledgeable about the region, city, culture etc. She remained flexible regarding our agenda and schedule. Highly recommend her.

Our guide, Yuki, was very...

Our guide, Yuki, was very well organized, kind, helpful, and went out of her way to tailor the tour to our priorities. We used public transportation which gave us a real sense of the city. We visited the Shiroyama National School Building, the Atomic Bomb Museum, the Nagasaki Peace Park, and the modest local Gokoku-jinja Shrine. She squeezed a lot in our 4-hour tour which we enjoyed very much.

We had a very informative tour with Hiro who went out of his way to make sure we knew how to go once we went on our own.

Hiro was very informative about the history of Japan and very helpful showing us how to continue on our own once the tour ended.
