The Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum shares the story of the 1945 atomic bombing through exhibits, artifacts, and survivor accounts, promoting peace and nuclear disarmament.

We will stroll through the Hypocenter Park and Peace Park, which are located very close to the Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum. While touring the atomic bombing ruins, let's feel the history of the atomic bomb and the reconstruction in Nagasaki.

Urakami Church is a Christian (Catholic) church. It was destroyed by the atomic bomb in 1945, but was rebuilt in 1959. Near the church, there is an atomic bomb relics exhibition room, and around the church, several atomic bombing ruins remain.

Sanno Shrine is located about 800 meters from the hypocenter and is known for having suffered atomic bomb damage. In particular, the "A-bombed camphor tree" and the "one-legged torii gate" are famous, making it a valuable site that conveys the traces of the atomic bomb to the present day.

Suwa Shrine is the most famous shrine in Nagasaki. It is very beautiful and photogenic, offering a wonderful opportunity to capture memorable photos.

Spectacular Nagasaki

This was a great tour … Sho made it excellent .. the fact that he lives in Nagasaki and his knowledge about the history made it much better We visited all we asked for and even more Of course visiting the Atomic Bomb Museum and all the Peace Memorials were very heart breaking and we had tears in our eyes We also went to Mount Inasa and rode the cable car with amazing views of the city Also we went to the only Catholic Cathedral we visitec in Japan tbe Urakami Cathedral Also visited theSuwa Jinja Shrine And the Confucian Shrine Also he took us to an amazing restaurant to have beef for lunch Thanks for the great moment

Our host and tour guide...

Our host and tour guide SHO was just fantastic, starting with the pick-up at the cruise terminal and then taking us to the interesting sites in Nagasaki - including some hidden spots. Very interesting history, culture and city life. Thank You Sho for such a great day, and also the flexibility on accomodating our wishes. We loved it!

Excellent day in Nagasaki

Our guide Sho, was very personable and friendly! He was very knowledgeable on everything and took us to see things other tour groups don’t get to see. He recommended a Wonderful restaurant for lunch serving local food. Highly recommend this tour and Sho as the guide

We had a wonderful...

We had a wonderful private tour of Nagasaki with Sho! He was great at helping us decide what to see and do before arriving. He loves his city and showed us the highlights in an efficient and knowledgeable way. Enthusiastic and fun, he also threw in some hidden gems and experiences! Would highly recommend!

Amazing tour, great guide

This was an excellent excursion into the city. Our guide, Sho was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed his company very much. It was a wonderful experience. His command of the English language was also excellent. We highly recommend him to anyone interested in his tour.
