Nagarkot is one of the nearest and popular hills from Kathmandu. Nagarkot is a village located about 36 km east of Kathmandu Valley at an elevation of close to 2,165 m above sea level. As one of the most scenic spots in the region, Nagarkot is famous for its sunrise views of the Himalayas. You can observe Mount Everest with its snow-topped peaks, and there is an overlook tower at the very top of the village’s hills. Eight out of the 13 Himalayan ranges of mountains in Nepal such as Annapurna, Manaslu, Ganesh Himal, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Mahalangur (Everest), Numbur can be seen from here. You will also have panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley, and Shivapuri National Park.

Nagarkot sunrise and Bhaktapur day tour takes you to the beautiful and amazing village of Nagarkot to observe mesmerizing sunrise view and then takes you to the old classic streets of Bhaktapur where you can witness the living ancient history and culture of Nepal. Bhaktapur Durbar Square contains many showpieces art, architecture and historical monuments among them we are going to discover some of the prominent sites. We can observe a collection of pagoda and Shikhara-style temples sorted encompassing a 55-Window Palace made up of brick and wood. The square is part of a beautiful valley as it highlights the idols of ancient kings rested on top of stone monoliths, the guardian divinities looking out from their shrines, the wood carvings in the very place which seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony. Some of the highlights of the square are the palace of 55 windows, Golden Gate, Talaju Temple, Shilu Mahadev Temple and many more.
You pick up early in the morning at 4:20 am from your hotel in Kathmandu and drive to Negarkot. Nagarkot is one of the nearest and popular hills from Kathmandu. Visit tallest pagoda or Nepali style of temple in Kathmandu. Which was built in 17th century by king Bhupatendra Malla. Also we visit Bhairab temple near by Nyatapola temple.
We visit pottery square in Bhaktapur and observ how they build pottery stuff.

What a great sunrise 🌄 tour from Kathmandu. We have an excellent view of Himalayas. After Nagarkot Hill sunrise and Himalayas view we went to Bhaktapur. The view of the Himalayas depends on the weather. The day we went the weather was good. We had a really great view of the mountains. Our guide was able to point out various peaks, including Everest. The second half of the tour was interesting. Our guide was good and very friendly. We are glad we took the tour.

The weather was beautiful and the mountains were clear. Durbar Square in Bhaktapur is huge. Earthquake damage prevented us from seeing some buildings. This tour was pricey, but it was a good experience.
