The museum aims to highlight key milestones in Prague's history in an engaging way. You'll experience the era of knights and kings, Jan Žižka and the Hussites, medieval torture (without practical demonstrations), and the construction of the Old Town Hall and Astronomical Clock. In the dimly lit halls, the towering figure of the Golem stands silently, a relic of ancient mysticism and folklore. The second floor covers tougher times, revisiting the Nazi occupation, the bombing of Prague, and the Soviet occupation. The third floor celebrates the Velvet Revolution and Czech global achievements. The museum also features a hidden room and unique exhibits not seen in photographs. Expect interactive displays rather than dry exhibits. The Story of Prague places you at the heart of the action, blending mixed reality with authentic stories through film installations and audio elements.

We were at the Story Museum in Prague yesterday, at Křižovnické Square, with some friends, and it was absolutely amazing. They have this beautifully designed interactive app on your phone—it’s really well set up. The exhibit pieces were fantastic, and it was just so much fun, right in the center of Prague. Definitely worth it!

Museum with the history of Prague, and also of the Czech Republic. They have it for ages and it is interactive, although sometimes the application of interactivity does not work. It ranges from the 10th century to the present, with special emphasis on the period of Nazi occupation and the fall of communism. Take at least two to three hours to see it. It's attached to Charles IV's bridge.

Considering that all of the other reviews of the Museum Story of Prague are so positive, I feel as if I must be missing something. This basically felt completely like an overpriced tourist trap to me. The "experience" relies highly on the scanning of QR codes, some of which worked well and others that did not. Some of the historical periods were covered better than others, for example I felt they did a good job with the World War II era. But overall, I would suggest saving your money and using it to explore the splendors of beautiful Prague.

We expected more interactivity and a VR experience. This short introduction to the city’s long and rich history can be very useful as an educational tool for children or as a preparation for visiting other museums for adult visitors.

This was really interesting with a good mix of exhibits and the timeline covered loads. Only reason it wasn’t a 5* was because the QR codes were overdone. I stopped scanning after the first floor
