Brilliant museum which certainly takes you for a walk down memory lane! The Time Tunnel is fantastic but other displays were being set up so we will have to return. Nice little cafe with garden too. Staff very pleasant and helpful. We will go back later in the year.

A real trip down memory lane. The museum does a brilliant job showing how everyday product packaging has evolved over the years, keeping the colours and patterns that make them instantly recognisable. Fascinating to see how brands build memories. The Gerry Anderson special exhibition was excellent — especially for those of a certain age who grew up with his shows. Tickets are valid for a full year, which is great value. Parking was awkward, but that’s central London for you. Overall, a small, slightly eccentric, not‑in‑your‑face museum with plenty of charm. Definitely wort

As the museum had a special ‘Thunderbirds’ exhibition and we had never been to this place before, we thought we would like to visit, and we are so glad we did! We first started in the main collection, peering into the glass cases, which are full of various items from toys, food stuff packaging, and general everyday household items spanning from Victorian to modern times. There is just so much to see, and the exhibits of how various brands and products have evolved from inception to modern times are extremely fascinating. We even met the founder of the museum Robert Opie, who was wandering around talking to visitors about his collections. When we were getting close to ‘museum fatigue’ (where you are reading but can no longer take it all in), we decided to visit the café for a break, and had our drink and cake in the lovely courtyard garden. Once refreshed and rested, it was back into the collection to continue our journey through the decades of consumerism. This place is certainly worth a visit if not to bring back nostalgia, to learn that consumerism has been happening since the dawn of time. The Thunderbirds exhibition was also very interesting, who knew that Gerry Anderson had so many different marionette TV shows, other than the well know Stingray, Captain Scarlett and of course Thunderbirds itself. Overall we spent approximately four hours here.

I absolutely loved this museum - full of fun and nostalgia. Good entry pricing for what you get and it’s free to access the beautiful cafe / memorial garden out the back. It wasn’t too busy when we were there - plenty of room to walk through the permanent exhibition with ease. Staff were very friendly - especially Francesca & Rebecca who went out of their way to make me feel welcome :) Nice for an afternoon out if you want something a bit different but really engaging.

A small but nice place. Offered a perspective on brand history I simply hadn’t seen before. Seeing how similar lettering was in the 1920s across products and brands, and how it evolved with images into scenes and pictures and all varieties of fonts was fascinating. I was disappointed that they really only had one primary exhibition. But no complaints with what I saw.

This is an excellent Museum that's fun and intriguing to visit. It's easy to get to. The Reception area is spacious, colouful and interesting. The staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. They have a small, pleasant cafe if you fancy a coffee or a cup of tea. The Museum itself is a delight. You get carefully curated displays of branding and commercial artwork from before Victoria times to the present day, offering a unique perspective on how trends and technology have evolved over time. When you get to whichever section corresponds with your youth, you'll feel a great wave of nostalgia! This is a happy, fascinating and joyful place to visit and not at all expensive. Well worth a look.

This is an excellent, enjoyable, well run museum to visit. It's easy to get to. The reception area is warm, interesting and inviting and they have a nice cafe area. The staff are welcoming, helpful and efficient. The museum itself is a joy and a delight to walk around, showing the history of brands and commercial design from pre-Victorian times to the present day. It's an extensive collection, clearly presented and displayed. When you get to whichever section corresponds with your childhood and teenage years, the museum will fill you with nostalgia. A wonderful place to visit and highly recommended.

Great museum to learn abut the evolution of brands and culture. The exhibition runs chronologically - from the 1800s to the present day. The museum also has a lovely café and a beautiful, peaceful garden. An enjoyable and thought provoking way to spend a few hours. Recommended.

Best museum I have ever visited, it truly left me overawed I had the joy of attending the Gerry Anderson display and it was an awesome experience, 4K upscale films, more toys and comics than I knew existed and I have been collecting both since the 70s. I am old enough to remember the brilliant MOMI and lamented it's demise, but, the museum of brands more than fills it's huge gap. Can't recommend it enough and will return next week...

An international school group from Paris. We really enjoyed the trip to London and the Brands Museum, although compact, was really stimulating and we know we got our money's worth given we stayed 2 hours. Thank you to the whole team
