This isn't about ticking off destinations. It's about understanding how these islands shaped Venetian culture, craftsmanship, and identity, while traveling in harmony with the lagoon's delicate ecosystem. Fantastic boat tour of Torcello, Burano, and Murano.

This was a surprising and relaxed tour of the three islands. Giorgia was an amazing host and guide. It ended up being a private tour just for the four people in our group. Which made it that much more special and memorable. Giorgia took us behind the scenes essential as we visited the three islands. She gave us interesting details at each stop and took us to places where we were treated as friends and not just tourists. The only negative is that we would have all enjoyed a little more time on some of the islands but the time we did have was very well spent. Again, Giorgia was a fantastic guide and host for the tour.

Great relaxing water ride to three interesting Venetian islands.

Our tour guide, Giorgia, was excellent in explaining with details all historical facts and landmarks along the waterway or of the sites we visited. The good thing about this tour is that it was geared to a very small group which gave it a more personal touch. The classic traditional Venetian boat was interesting and well driven by its Captain Samuel. All of the three islands visited offer a unique experience with Burano (colorful houses) and Murano (glass trinkets and jewelry) being the best. Giorgia accompanied us to the main points of interest and allowed us free time to explore on our own which was great. We highly recommend this tour when in Venice and hopefully you get Giorgia as your guide.

We’ll also be sure to pass your kind words to Captain Samuel 🚤✨ Thank you for the recommendation, and we hope to welcome you again in Venice!

Excellent trip to three lovely islands

Personalised trip with an excellent guide, Gianmarco, to three lovely islands. There was only the two of us but the company did not cancel. The boat was not available due to a mechanical fault a few days earlier, but we travelled by Vaparetto and had the 24 hour ticket to use that evening for a trip along the Grand Canal. The weather was terrible; lashing rain and wind, but that cannot be helped. The trip started in Burano, where we watched a very brief lace making demonstration (then they try to sell you stuff, but it was not a hard sell) and we then had free time (about an hour) to wander around. We went off the main street and it was lovely, very picturesque; a bonus was that the sun came out for a while. Next Torcello, where we visited the church (lots of scaffolding inside due to restoration work but could still see fairly well), and had lunch at the little cafe recommended by our guide (very friendly cats looking for a warm lap). Finally Murano, where we watched a glass blowing demonstration (decent length of time), but no sales promotion. Decided to return early as the weather as cold and wet, although we were given an hour's free time to explore, but apart from a church, there is just a long street of glass shops. Communication with the providing company was good and we really appreciated our guide.

Hi Kay, thank you so much for your detailed and thoughtful review 😊 We’re really happy to hear that Gianmarco made the experience personal and enjoyable, even with the challenging weather conditions. It’s great that you still had the chance to discover the beauty of Burano’s quieter streets, the charm of Torcello, and the glass-blowing tradition in Murano. We’re also glad the alternative arrangements worked smoothly and that you appreciated the flexibility of the experience 🚤✨ Thank you again for your kind words, and we hope to welcome you back to Venice in better weather next time!
