KFDC Flower Garden also said to be as the Munnar Rose Garden which is working under Kerala Forest Development Centre. Munnar Rose Garden is the home of vast collection of flowering plants, shrubs, Creepers, Medicinal plants and Herbs. You also can buy variety of plants that you love from the outlet inside the garden. The Entry Fee is Rs.20 per person and has additional charges for photography.
Photo point is a popular place in Munnar that gives you a pleasant vibe of tea plantation, Silver oak Tree, Stream etc. Here you can take photos dressed up in the authentic look of a plantation worker that will give you a beautiful memory of very different experience.
Mattupetty Tea Factory is the one of the best live tea factory in Munnar by KDHP. It allows tourist to experience how the tea is processed and manufactured from the tea gardens to the Cup of Tea. Take a short visit give an insight into the tea making. entry fee is 100
Mattupetty dam, the storage concrete dam under Pallivasal hydro electrical project. It is surrounded by The Sholaforest and Tea Plantations. In Mattupetty dam you can also experience activities like pedal boating, Speed boating which is arranged by Tourism council. The Mattupetty Cattle farm is another main attraction in Mattupetty, it is Livestock project that is working here. This is also known as indo– swiss project that consists of a varieties of cattles. The entry into the Cattle farm is only allowed with prior appointments.
Tea valley view
As the name suggests this place famous for the phenomenon of Echoing. This place also gives a beautiful view of the dam and with the forest. Here you can enjoy a small street shopping.
Kundala lake is a famous tourist spot that is built in river Periyar and surrounded by Western Ghat Mountain Ranges. Cherry blossom Tree which only blooms twice in an year is the main attraction of Kundala lake. You can experience pedal boating, speed boating and shikkara boating here.
Top station is drops in Munnar-TamilNadu boarder. It is about 1700m above sea level, from here we can experience the panoramic view of Western Ghat. Since it is in such height you can also see the Theni district in TamilNadu. The mistly effect gives you an feeling of being in a heaven. You can also get the experience of seeing clouds very next to you.
Tata Tea Museum is a popular tourist spot which is situated in Nallathanni Estate, Munnar of Kerala. It is located at a distance of about 1.2 kms from Munnar town.The history of Munnar is connected to tea plantations for over a century. This Museum not only gives you an experience of a Tea factory but also reminds you the history of Munnar. At this point you also get to buy a variety of tea from the TATA tea sales outlet, they also shows you how to make a perfect tea.

Had a great time Ganesh exploring the tea plantations and even got to see an Indian Giant Squirrel. He was super friendly and made sure we didn't miss anything. He also helped build the day around the experiences that we want to see. Thanks again for a great day.

Ganesh was an amazing guide. Showing us lots of wildlife. And even stopping when we saw the rare Indian giant squirrel. He knew all the good spots. I would highly recommend a day with him if you can. Our hotel was outside the main city and he came a picked us up too, for a minimal fee, which we really appreciated.

We had a great time during our guided walk in the tea plantations and the visit of the tea factory. We learned so much about the tea ecosystem, not just the plantation! Our guide, Mari, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us plenty of time for questions, there was no rush and the 3 hour-tour was very enjoyable. There was no push for us to buy any tea, just time to learn and appreciate the various tea qualities. I highly recommend if you are curious about tea history and its ecosystem and enjoy walking outdoor. The walk is easy and with several stops!

A fantastic way to see Munnar in a day. Karthik was a great guide/driver and went above and beyond. Looking back I can't believe how much ground we covered and how much I was able to experience on our day together (I even had time to get a little kayaking in!). Going by tuk tuk was especially fun.
