A very well done, informative, museum with some really great, interactive displays. Well worth it. Admission was part of a whale watching trip but the perfect combination. Go whale watching and then check out the museum.
The MUNBA is an exceptional museum that stands out for its innovative character, its high scientific rigor and a clear and accessible museography that makes it understandable and attractive to diverse audiences. Few museums on the subject I know of that can so effectively balance quality scientific outreach with a visitor-friendly experience. From a scientific perspective, I would like MUNBA to consider the implementation of a specialized reference collection for the conservation of stranded animal skulls. This type of collection would strengthen comparative research, support taxonomic and morphological studies, and contribute directly to research developed by colleagues from different parts of the world.
Pretty cool whale museum with a moderate amount of things to see. Not huge but good enough for a few hours.
