To understand that emotion, you need someone who was born and brought up in this city, written about it and walked its streets with curious travellers for 8+ years. I am Takshak, a published travel author; my book 'An Away Game' follows three Mumbaikars chasing the FIFA World Cup Final to Russia, where they meet people from around the globe, drawing the threads between Mumbai and the wider world. That same eye for story is what I bring to every tour. My wife, Neha, is a Bollywood choreographer who joins select tours, turning the afternoon into a hands-on dance experience that no stage show or cultural performance can replicate. Known as the 'Queen's Necklace', this curved road by the sea indeed looks like a necklace when the street light are lit up after sunset!
While Juhu beach is the more popular one, this small beach in the city is also visited by many travelers
ISKCON temple has several branches worldwide. However, this one in Mumbai is located next to the beach, which makes it special!

Pickup Locations & Times
We pick you up from whichever hotel you are staying in. Just let me know the name and we'll be there. It just has to be within the city limits and we'll come and get you and also drop you to your hotel after the tour. Please note if your pick up is from outside mainland city i.e., Navi Mumbai or North Mumbai (North of Goregaon), a ₹2,000 surcharge will be levied.

Takshak was amazing! He took us to the best places, thoroughly explained everything we were seeing and was incredibly kind. He was born and raised in Mumbai so navigated the city with ease. There were four of us, including two young kids and he was great with all of us! Would take another tour with him in a heartbeat.

We had a great experience with Takshak. It was a private tour so we were able to personalize. We got a good overview of some of Mumbai most iconic places. Enjoyed the conversation about culture, film and books. And got some good recommendations from him.
The tour was randomized, lacking in structure and organized planning. As a customer you tell the guide your interests in the morning and he/she as the local expert will create a day plan. The execution of the tour was not smartly planned (e.g., a random stop at an ugly beach that has garbage on the dirty sand and no water as it's very low tide, because the guide needed a cigarette break). The guide smokes and it seems to get in the way of the tour guide job, such as edginess throughout the day because of craving for a cigarette. Overall not bad but I wouldn't recommend it. On the positive side he speaks decent English and drives safely.
This is a very busy city but our guides made it easy and safe to travel around. Both tour guides were wonderful and super nice. Great English!
Overall an absolutely wonderful experience! We saw a lot and even got some good food on the way! Our guide Takshak was very informative and knowledgeable about the history of the areas we went to! He was also very friendly and arrived on time! We had a great experience and with him and we wished we had more time to vacation there and have him guide us to more historical sites! 100/10. Would recommend!! 5 stars!
Takshak has done a great job curating this tour to cover all the main spots in Mumbai! My husband and I very much enjoyed this tour and our time with Takshak. He did not rush us and allowed us to spend as much time as we desired at each location. If you are in Mumbai, I highly recommend booking this tour!
I took the tour with family and it was great trip with Takshak. He gave detailed information on each spots. Very flexible and customised the tour as per our interests. Trip started on time and vehicle was clean. I would highly recommend this tour.
Here you are guided through the city in a very pleasant, competent and considerate manner. You are given options in a friendly manner, allowing you to decide for yourself what you want to see and how intensively. There is no set program, and you can always add new requests outside of the tour. We saw the Cinema Museum. It was a wonderful day and we were able to see everything that was on offer and more.
Neha expertly guided us around Mumbai in a comfortable AC car. She was very flexible with the places we wanted to see and told us much about living in Mumbai and the sites we were visiting. Her English was excellent. We had a truly memorable day.
