Mumbai Street Food & Night Markets

Description
Hop on the train for a 15-minute ride to Chowpatty beach.Considering the warm weather most locals spend evenings with their families on the beach enjoying the cool breeze after a long day of work and enjoying Mumbai's iconic street snack in a picnic setup and guess what we do the same on the tour. The other half of the tour will be spent walking around Mohamed Ali Road, Mumbai's oldest market area, which is also a predominantly Muslim area with mouth-watering desserts and non-vegetarian dishes. On this tour we cover two aspects, we make you try street food which is very popular amongst the locals while partnering with food vendors whom we know use proper hygienic ways to prepare food and we take you on a walk which is like a maze of market streets which are lit up during the evening. Please note the tour price includes all the transportation costs to get from one place to another, we use local trains and taxis to get around and also it covers all the food costs.

If you’re looking for the best way to experience Mumbai, I can’t recommend Jitu highly enough. He gave us an incredible tour of the city, taking us to some of the best local food markets and hidden gems we never would have found on our own. Every stop came with fascinating stories and insights, and his knowledge of Mumbai’s history, culture, and food was honestly ridiculous—in the best possible way! Jitu was friendly, engaging, and made the whole experience feel authentic rather than touristy. We got to try amazing local dishes, explore vibrant markets, and learn so much about the city. It was easily one of the highlights of our trip. If you’re visiting Mumbai, do yourself a favour and book a tour with Jitu—you won’t regret it!
Such an authentic experience. Local beach, food market, temples, and braving the crazy crosswalks. I feel like I have truly experienced Mumbai.
G2 was a great guide! Super knowledgeable and answered lots of our questions.
We had an amazing food tour with Raj (IG HANDLE: Nomadwanderers.co) in Mumbai! He brought us to try a variety of delicious local street food, giving us a true taste of the city. One of the highlights was taking the local train, which made the experience even more authentic. We also walked through the lively shopping streets and markets, soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of Mumbai. Raj was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole tour enjoyable from start to finish. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Mumbai!
