Meet your host Reshma, a professional chef, who loves feeding people, in her beautifully decorated apartment in Santacruz, very close to NMACC Mumbai. After a refreshing drink, head to the Santacruz market (perhaps by rickshaw!) to pick up some fresh ingredients for the meal that you will prepare together. Later join Reshma in her home kitchen and learn to cook pandhra rassa (mutton in creamy coconut milk soup) or chicken masala and a seasonal vegetable. Our cooking class with Chef Reshma was one of the highlights of our trip! She took us to her home market, which was interesting, and then back to her personal kitchen for the class and a meal. Reshma is so fun and we enjoyed hearing about her life. The food was amazing and we can’t wait to apply what we learned at home!
The market tour as well as the cooking class with Reshma is highly recommended. Travelling by TukTuk through Mumbai to the market was an experience. Reshma showed us the different vegetables and herbs at the market. Afterwards we prepared 3 vegetarian Indian dishes in Reshma`s kitchen. Reshma is a great hostess with whom we had a lot of fun and who made us curious about Indian cuisine. The cooking class was one of the highlights of our Mumbai trip
Wonderful experience, cooking lesson and awesome food led by a very gifted and welcoming host Reshma Mane.
We had a wonderful experience with Reshma. From the moment we met at her apartment, we were made to feel welcome. Reshma told us all about herself and the meals that we were going to cook. We were taken to the market by tuk tuk, an experience in itself! Reshma bought us some snacks from a stall that she has been visiting since she was a young child. We then visited the market, where she showed us an array of vegetables which we had never seen before. Back at her apartment, we prepared and cooked the food under her guidance. Finally, we ate the together meal, which was fantastic. We highly recommend this experience, it was probably one of the highlights of our holiday.
Great experience cooking at real Indian dinner. Had a variation of vegetarian and non vegetarian options with a variation of Indian spices.
An absolutely amazing experience! Food was amazing and Reshma was knowledgeable and very friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend doing this.
This was truly my favorite experience during our trip to India. We went to the local market and were shown so many unique veggies and fruits that are incorporated in Indian cuisine. But best of all we learned some simple techniques to Indian cooking that are a staple to so many dishes. Then to learned to make 2 wonderful dishes and enjoyed a large meal with many small plates with our host. It was a truly a something special to talk to the host and learn from eachother. Would recommend to everyone !

Excellent location , fresh fish and above all excellent value for money . Absolutely worth visiting. The only problem is to book well in advance since it is perpetually full and not by chance.
We took Rhesma cooking class in the SantaCruz area. She was very welcoming, and definatly passionate with food and showing us how to do it. The food was very good. I recommand!
