Fantastic walking tour of the fort area of Mumbai in which we saw the multiple heritage buildings that are simply magnificent. Javed was a fantastic guide who explained the history behind the buildings and their legacy. He answered our many questions confidently and imparted his considerable knowledge. We also stopped off for the most delicious lassi on the way. Thank you Javed, you were amazing 🤩.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! 😊 It was truly a pleasure showing you around the Fort area and sharing the history and stories behind Mumbai’s magnificent heritage buildings. I’m glad you enjoyed the walk, the discussions, and of course the delicious lassi stop along the way! Your curiosity and enthusiasm made the tour even more special. Hope to see you again for another Mumbai exploration soon. Thank you once again for your kind words!
Was a great way to get oriented on Day 1, walk and see old Mumbai and historic sites in Colaba, friendly helpful guide, was a good choice overall!
Dear ma'am, Thank you so much for writing a review for us. We are glad that you enjoyed the Heritage walking tour with Mystical Mumbai .
Anthony gave an excellent tour of South Mumbai, taking us to unique sites we would not have otherwise visited. We visited the Gateway of India, Victoria station and Marine Drive. You also visit the fish market and the spice market to sample some Masala tea - we bought some spices there as well. Part of the journey also includes a ride on the local bus between locations, so you get a break from the walking on an air-conditioned double decker bus. Anthony was an excellent guide who gave us a lot of history as well. This tour did include quite a bit of walking, but if you get tired or at the outset need to do less you can certainly let Anthony know and he’ll adjust it for you. Upon booking we also received a WhatsApp from Anthony, which was nice for peace of mind that you’ll be able to meet up with your guide!
We’re so grateful that you took the time to leave us a 5-star review. Thank you!
My guide, Dev was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. He was very helpful taking photos and getting me into a shared taxi at the end of the walk. I enjoyed hearing about his experience of life in the city, most interestingly his commute every day.
Thank you for your review!
