Dharavi is the largest slum in India, located in Mumbai. It became famous after the movie "Slumdog Millionaire" was inspired by it. Dharavi is a unique place to explore, with a population of around one million people and a literacy rate of 69 percent. The slum has an impressive entrepreneurial culture, with small-scale industries such as pottery, leather production, textiles, and recycling. As you walk through the narrow alleyways, you can see skilled artisans creating useful products out of discarded materials.

I had an incredible experience touring the Dharavi slums. I can’t say enough good things about this tour and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mumbai. Krishna was an amazing tour guide!!!
