Awesome! Great trip! Highly recommend
The guide for this e-bike was amazing he gave us the tools we needed to navigate the trip safely. He was exceptionally helpful when we had many questions about how to purchase the right bike for us. Overall the best part of our week long trip! Now we will be purchasing some e-bikes and probably sending Multnomah Falls E-bike a very nice thank you card!
The destinations are great, but this e-bike "tour" is a very different and not as safety-conscious as others we've been on. The description is misleading...it says, "Tour", but it's a self-guided ride. The description says, "following your guide". We assumed that would be a person, not a downloaded guide. Disappointing, and dangerous, given not everyone has ridden an e-bike before, and the ride is on a road with cars. Also - the start of the ride is treacherous. To start, you ride down a moderately steep hill covered with loose gravel. I went before my wife, and was fishtailing/sliding the entire way down the hill (and I went VERY slowly). My wife also went down the hill slowly, but she had a fall where she scraped her arm. This hill is NOT safe, and should not be part of the ride....The tour should start at the bottom of that hill, that path shouldn't be so steep, or it should be paved.
We had an amazing time on this bike trip. We picked up the bikes in the parking lot of Multnomah Falls due to some construction around their usual pick up site, but it worked out great. We were able to visit four waterfalls and a viewpoint, which was amazing. The pick up was seamless. The bikes were well maintained, and the guide (who you pickup the bikes from but guide your own tour) was helpful and well informed.
Riding an EBike through the main drag of Multnomah Falls was perfect! We parked the bikes several times, hiked up to waterfalls and were able to enjoy the speed of our trip. We had one day to see as many falls as we could and the bikes helped facilitate that. I did have low air in a tire and luckily someone at the falls happened to have a pump and saved the day. Otherwise, the bikes are great and would definitely recommend this for someone trying to see all the falls in one day.
E-bikes such fun highly recommend a ride thru forest and looking at waterfalls! Take lots of pictures!
This was the highlight of our trip to Oregon. What a beautiful way to experience the waterfalls on an E bike. My son is still talking about it a week later. Give yourself more time than you think because there is some light hiking to get down to the falls in some of the spots.
This was my first time riding an e-bike. It was a lot of fun - and easy! I was nervous about having to bike on the road, but there were not many cars, and the cars were careful as there were many cyclists on the road. Most importantly, the communication with the E-bike Multnomah Falls company was very good - including getting the waivers ahead of time, communicating about a new pick-up spot due to a road closure, and then helping to direct us to get to one of the waterfalls by car. The various waterfalls were beautiful. Highly recommend.
Bike ride was amazing. Being on a bike was the ideal to see all these nice places. My dad who is 71 really enjoyed it too. Would definitely come back another time with my kids
This is not a guided tour but the route is self explanatory. The location is easy to miss so make sure you give your self enough time to find the location.
