Explore the villages and landscapes around Tenerife’s Mt Teide and the Masca valley on a full-day tour! After leaving southern Tenerife, make your way through the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Teide National Park where otherworldly volcanic sights abound. Pass through Vilaflor, one of Spain’s highest villages, stop for photos at the island’s famous dragon tree over 3000 years old in Icod De Los Viños and then enjoy plenty of free time to explore Garachico the original port of Tenerife which was devastated by the last volcano eruption and Masca the village on a cliff the gorgeous Canarian village tucked into the hills. With much much more to see and discover with this trip you will not be disappointed. You will have time for lunch in a recommended restaurant or take your own lunch which there are many places to sit and eat. November to May can be a little cold in the mountains. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ITINERARY MAY ALTER DUE TO CERTAIN CIRCUMSTANCES. ROUTES MAY ALTER DUE TO WEATHER.

This is for North pick ups only.
A short stop in one of the highest villages in Europe. South pick ups only.
Take a lovely walk around the famous rock formations with great views of Mount Teide Volcano and the National Park. Overlooking the basin where the land sunk below the cone of Teide during the eruption. On occasions we may stop at the zapato de la reina rock formation.
See the Chiñero volcano lava fields (the most recent of the eruptions here in Tenerife 1906)
Stop off in Icod de los Vinos to take a look at the old dragon tree 3000 years old. ( the old folks tale is if the tree is cut it will bleed.) The village of Icod is rustic with the typical church and plaza.
Spend some time here in possibly the most beautiful villages in Tenerife. I tiny hamlet hidden in the folds of western Tenerife. A community of people who wanted to be hidden from the rest of the island. Amazing views of a gorge leading down to Los Gigantes.
Garachico being the original first port in Tenerife until destroyed in 1706 by the volcano erupting. Having time to take a stroll through the town center or take a seat in the plaza under the trees and enjoy the scenery.

Pick up points are in the coastal resorts in Tenerife, times may vary depending where you are staying.. Most pick ups are prior to 08.30am Rural out of the way hostels/AirBNB clients will have to travel a little to reach the larger coastal towns. We do not pick up from all hotels. A close central point may be issued to you. (short walking distance) WE DO NOT PICK UP IN SANTA CRUZ, LA LAGUNA OR RURAL AREAS. We do not pickup from PALM MAR or ABADES . All North pick ups are only from PUERTO DE LA CRUZ. We no longer visit the cliffs of Los Gigantes. Costa del Silencio and Las Galletas we only pick up Tuesdays and Thursdays El Medano we pick up every day but not on Wednesdays or Fridays.

I enjoy a lot and saw Tenerife from different point, as it was just my second day on the island. I am very happy that I choose to travel by organized group, as I could see more in one day and renting the car would be too crazy for me. So at the end it was good decision. Only, I wanted discover more of Teide, I prefer the time for lunch change for short picnic and spend more time in Teide. This was my disappointment when I realize we are already leaving the park. :-(

Despite arriving very early, tour guide Alexis completely ignored us when we wanted to board the bus. We asked other buses to check where our booking is. Apparently it was in the same bus with Alexis. Bus was packed like sardines in a can, with dysfunctional AC. Journey back had a drop off stop where Alexis was looking for taxis to dispatch passengers for over 15 minutes without any AC in bus. Whole experience was ruined by his attitude.

Regarding the boarding process, our guides manage a large number of passengers and vehicles, and while every effort is made to assist all guests promptly, there can occasionally be confusion during departures. Concerning the bus occupancy and air conditioning, please note that transportation is provided by an external company, and vehicle allocation and technical matters are managed directly by them. Nevertheless, we take comments regarding passenger comfort seriously and will pass your observations on to the transport provider for review. As for the stop during the return journey, the guide was assisting with the coordination of onward transportation for some passengers to ensure they reached their destinations safely. We understand that the wait may have been frustrating, particularly given the temperature inside the vehicle. They were about 14 people in our tour in a large bus with very comfortable ride with their air conditioning. The guide spoke Spanish, English, and German. . He was very professional and well organized.

This was an enjoyable trip to see the incredible landscapes of Tenerife. There was lots of information provided on the tour about the places we went. The driver was also very good on some very hairy roads! However I did feel the tour felt a little frantic at times, running around after the tour guide. Teide was incredible but we had 25 minutes- there was a video suggested we could watch but that was 12 minutes so it was impossible to do both. I thought we would have more time at Masca and Teide which I would have preferred rather than rushing to the next stop.

Guide did not share plan of the day and did not share in advance when bathrooms would / would not be available. Bus drive was excellent.

A great tour to see the masca valley and the teide! Our guide was really good to explain and show us the beauty of the island. The return with the bus through the masca valley was definitely an experience! Highly recommended

This was such a lovely day trip - the organised transfer was really helpful and timely as out hotel was outside of the main area. Our guide was kind, helpful, and provided lots of insight and history. The volcano and nearby towns were honestly breathtaking!
