Excellent trip to two wonders in one day. I wasn't sure what to expect with the irrigation system, but it was perhaps the highlight of the tour. Abby, my guide, was very knowledgeable, nice and explained how it all worked. Highly recommended.
We had an early morning start with a limo ride out to the country. The scenery was great and the food on the way was a cultural experience I will never forget. Ask for the Chillie fish! ...and no it’s not that spicy. My guide, Lucy, made me a priority for the day. Lucy explained many of the cultural significances of the area as we enjoyed a hike to the top of Mount Qingcheng. I even bought some fruit from a lady on the way with WeChat. The Dujiangyan irrigation system was pretty amazing to see. 2000+ years old and still functional. I truly enjoyed my day and can say that without Lucy’s passion for her country I would not have such a memorable experience. Highly recommended. Go Lucy! Yes, I will be back.
thanks for your detail feedback, hope can see you next time.
