pick up from your Nairobi hotel or residence and drive to southeast to NARUMORU town ,we drive to ward to NARUMORU gate 18km from NARUMORU town sign in at NARUMORU gate 2400m and driver further to met station 3095 m and start our hike 3 hrs hike up to 3800m.Hike through forest, bamboo, rosewood and heather zones. The forest and bamboo are home to hundreds of buffaloes, elephants, bushbucks and a plethora of bird species .Naro Moru Route is the most popular of all the routes that lead up to Mount Kenya. It is the steepest and the fastest way up Mt Kenya and ascends the mountain from the west. The route is particularly scenic but has some of the best views of Batian 5199 m and nelion 5099m up the mountain after hike descent down to met station and conn thect transfer back to Nairobi arriving Nairobi around 5 to 6 pm
