Mount Batur is one of the active volcano in Bali which is located in Kintamani northern part of Bali, this volcano is about 1717 meters above the sea level. This is the best spot to watch the sunrise in Bali. First you are going to the sunrise spot of mount Batur and while waiting for the sunrise your lovely jeep driver will prepare your delicious breakfast ala the volcano. This is a wonderful experience with one of the best services we have experienced since arriving in Bali 3 days ago. Mount Batur tour - under promised and over delivered. Picked up at the Hotel by MADE who was extremely warm and went out of his way to take us to Cantik Agriculture Coffee Tasting, excellent Kopi Luwak. The jeep guide, Agus was something else all together, the Mount Batur experience was completely different from the hundreds of other jeeps there, we were taken to a higher spot that was away from the crowd and noise, absolutely stunning and his photo taking was outstanding. Hire Bali Cab and especially Agus as a guide truly made this trip special. This is a 10 out of 10!

Communication from BUDI was really clear and easy for pick up! He was easy going and when I felt sick from the windy roads made sure to drive slower which was much appreciated. The Jeep up the mountain was a rocky drive but our driver Wayan was excellent! He then helped me up the mountain for an amazing view of the sunrise, was well worth going up that little bit extra. He took so many photos which I loved! This experience was worth the early wake up
If you're looking for a fun, interactive driver who will get you to your tour quickly, MBudi is your guy! My friend and I had lots of laughter with him despite starting our tour at 2am! Strongly recommend warm clothing. We read the reviews and they were not lying, Mount Batur is cold in the morning. The jeep was the better option as we'd done lots of walking already, our driver Kadek got us up the mountain in the jeep and was just a lovely kind person taking lots of pics as the sun rose. Look out at the starsbefpre they disappear. It is all magical. Then we went to the black lava site (dry rocks - not sure why I expected molten), and finally the hotsprings. We were pleasantly surprised at the statues and architectural beauty around us here and obviously the heat of the hot springs.
A good driver. A beautiful road. The driver takes very beautiful photos. We rescheduled the tour three times because of the weather, and each time we were allowed to do it for free.

This was a really great trip our driver Budi,picked us up from our hotel and drove us to the drop of site in a private air conditioned taxi. We then transferred to the Jeep which had a retractable cover which we needed as it rained heavily during the trip. Our Jeep driver Mamoe, was brilliant and managed to get us to the top and park in a great spot to await the sunrise he even took photos of us. Just be aware that it gets really busy at the top. Take a rain coat or an umbrella. We then headed to the black lava fields interesting and a fun drive. We met up with our driver that took us to back to our Hotel Thank you for amazing experience

Had a great morning to see the sunrise at Mount Batur. Budi our taxi driver was on time at 3.15 am to pick us up from the hotel. He was a good driver and very efficient. I have his name if I go back to Bali. Santi the 4x4 driver who took us the mountain was excellent also. Provided us with breakfast and hot chocolate and took some great photos and videos for us. A great trip thank you!!

The tour was a nice experience. There were two drivers, one who drove us to the city where the Mt. Batur is located, and one who drove us with the Jeep up the mountain. both guys were nice and polite. They also took some great photographs of us and made sure we were comfortable and warm during the ride. The swim in the hot spring afterwards was also a nice.
