Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls Semi-Private Tour from Dubrovnik

Description
What truly sets this experience apart is its intimacy—travel in a small group of no more than 8 guests, in a comfortable minivan. This not only creates a relaxed, personal atmosphere, but also allows us to bypass long border queues, giving you more time to explore and enjoy. The natural beauty of Kravice is simply mesmerizing. Feel the cool mist on your skin as cascading waterfalls tumble into a crystal-clear emerald pool, creating a serene oasis that feels almost otherworldly. It’s the kind of place that photos can’t quite capture—you have to experience it. Then, step into history in Mostar, a city gracefully set along the emerald Neretva River. Wander its cobbled streets and discover a rich cultural tapestry shaped over centuries. At its heart stands the iconic Stari Most, a masterpiece of 16th-century Ottoman architecture and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the Balkans.

The falls were beautiful, the van was air conditioned, and the tour guide was nice. The rest of the trip was AWFUL! We started with a long car ride through the curvy roads on the mountains to the falls, which are a mini version of Plitvica Jezera in Croatia (highly recommended). After that the trip went down hill quickly. It was a very long drive to Mostar to spend a few hours seeing a MEH old town with overpriced souvenirs that rarely took credit cards, but did take euros. THE TEMPERATURE WAS 96 DEGREES IN JUNE. THERE WAS NO HEAT OR AGE WARNING ON THIS TRIP. The tour guide was used to it, he lives here, and he joked that it was even worse as summer goes on. IT WAS 3 HOURS OF SUFFERING IN HORRIBLE HEAT! To see a bridge?!?! The food was authentic to the region but only one place was air conditioned down to about 85 degrees. IF I COULD GIVE MOSTAR — 5 STARS, I WOULD. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. Even the younger people on the trip thought is sucked.
Mio was a great guide amd provided us with lots of stories. Well done Mio.
A really wonderful day out with Marko, our guide and driver full of interesting information. The fact that he was local to Mostar and actually played as a child in the Kravice waterfalls made the whole experience so much more memorable. The small group tour - just three couples was effort free and Marko's recommendations for shopping and dining in Mostar were perfect.
Highly recommend our tour guide! Miodrag was professional, informative, and made the entire trip enjoyable. His passion for sharing the local culture and history truly made the experience special. Thank you for an incredible tour!
Mio made our Balkan journey truly exceptional. His extensive knowledge of Croatia, Bosnia, and the surrounding Balkan countries is impressive, but what sets him apart is his professionalism, warmth, and infectious energy. Every drive felt like a private tour filled with captivating stories, local recommendations, and meaningful conversations—never a dull moment. His passion for sharing his country and culture shines through in everything he does. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and would recommend him without hesitation.
Laus travel arranged to pick us up and drop us off in Cavtat. Small group format worked well. Worth the extra money. Mateo was very informative and had a good sense of humour. We were impressed with both Kravice and Mostar. Highly recommend.
Marko was an excellent and proud B and H guide well educated and very interesting. The falls were magnificent. Take reef shoes if you are sweet, very hard on the feet. Mostar is a nice city. The market was good but the roads/paths through it are such an uneven, polished stone that we spent most of our time trying not to slip over. All in all a pretty good day. It was 43 degrees that day, which was just a little warm for us.
Had a great tour with our guide, Disco. He was really informative about the complex history of Bosnia and the area. The pickup was on time and right at our accommodation, the van was comfortable and nicely air conditioned and the border crossings were easy. We really enjoyed the waterfalls and the town of Mostar. Overall, highly recommend this tour!
This was an outstanding tour which ran like clockwork (whilst never feeling rushed). The waterfalls at Kravice were beautiful and, arriving at 9 am, there were very few people there. The swim was invigorating and memorable, Mostar is of course beautiful if busy. I especially recommend taking the 10-minute boat ride, the best way to get beautiful pictures of the bridge. After time in Dubrovnik, the prices were great as well. Having only 6 people on the tour allowed for quick and easy movement and a more personalised tour. Best of all was Bruno the guide: personable, informative and outstanding at his job. We could not have had a better guide!
This excursion is comprised of two activities: visiting thr Kravice Waterfall, which is located in a kitschy type of tourist attraction park and a longer visit to the town of Mostar, which has a famous bridge and a bustling marketplace. It was a 2.5 hour drive each way, so a lot of time in the van… all good if these attractions are what you’re looking for. We wanted to enter Bosnia, and I was thrilled to get my passport stamped 🤓 as I understand this is not typically done. Our tour guide Bruno was very knowledgeable and was able to quickly get us over the border both ways, apparently this is not always a great experience. Not a bad way to spend a day if you have time to kill and are interested in seeing these areas.
