Morning Group Sea Experience to Polyaigos

Excellent and authentic experience. Swimming opportunities were amazing, but so was the food and the hospitality

This day tour from Pollonia exceeded all expectations for both my wife and I. We will remember this as an authentic insight into life on the Aegean sea. It included catching fish, cooking them in a traditional way and eating them on the boat whilst traversing the waters around Kimolos and Polyaigos with the experienced Captain Nikos and his wife. The dramatic and colourful landscape of Polyaigos was matched by pristine waters of all shades of blue and green. With many stops to swim in protected coves it was a relaxing day spent with great people.

Such an amazing experience! We didn’t know what to expect but it exceeded anything we hoped for! Such lovely hosts made us feel like we are part of the family, beautiful swimming spots, net fishing was amazing to be part of and the stunning fresh food was better then in restaurant! It’s a must experience for anyone in Milo’s !

I cannot recommend this enough, the hosts made you feel like part of the family and the destinations they take you to are just amazing. If I was staying on the island for another day I would have booked it again.

This trip was the absolute highlight of our time in Milos. The landscapes were truly indescribable and something you simply have to experience for yourself. Froso and Niko were incredibly kind and welcoming, and they made the whole experience feel warm and personal from start to finish. Their hospitality, the delicious grilled fish and snacks, Niko’s boating skills, and the authentic atmosphere made this trip absolutely perfect!

We had a simply unforgettable experience thanks to Froso and Nikolaos. It was not just a boat tour, but a real immersion in the authenticity and purest beauty of the Cyclades. They accompanied us on a spectacular journey starting from the small port of Pollonia towards Kimolos and especially Polyaigos, making us discover hidden coves and corners that we could hardly see with other tours. The experience and deep knowledge of the sea of Nikolaos have allowed us to reach unique, uncontaminated and breathtaking places, giving us views and emotions that we will always carry with us. One of the best moments was seeing how they fish up close: experiencing this authentic tradition directly on the sea was something special. And then being able to taste the freshly caught fish, prepared with simplicity and authenticity, made everything even more magical. But what really made a difference was their incredible hospitality. Froso and Nikolaos welcomed us with a rare kindness, making us feel not just guests, but long-time friends. Their availability, the human warmth and the love they transmit for their land and the sea made this day truly perfect. We recommend this experience to anyone who wants to discover the most authentic, human and wonderful side of these islands.

had a really nice time on the boat! (3 other participants with me and my boyfriend) although i had expected to have some hands on at the fishing but it was just watching and understanding Frosho and Mikos’ fishing process with a net which was cool too! They then brought us to see different fishing villages with picturesque syrma houses as well as a few beaches (passed by sarakiniko and some christian catacombs). we also stopped by firopotamos beach and plathiena beach for a dip in the water (they let us use their pool noodles and snorkel masks which were great! the water was very clear and if you head closer to the rocks you can spot more fish!). really all we brought was our swimsuit and towels and dry clothes to wear on top for when it’s more chilly from the wind. we ate some snacks and wonderful appetisers (Dakos) and afterwards were treated to a lunch feast with the same fish that we saw caught hours before! a traditional fisherman special: fish soup. they were very very generous with their portions and kept piling on more fish onto our plates which really made us feel homely. we enjoyed this with wine, coke, beer, lemonade, etc. there was also nice fresh tomato salad, beets, bread and greek-style mayonnaise. lastly we finished up with yummy fruits and greek yoghurt with honey! we also were treated to shots of some greek alcohol (mastika) before we bid each other farewell and got off the boat. overall had a really nice day out with everyone and learnt quite a bit about Greek culture, history and fishing! Recommend this very much! 🙌🏼

A great unique experience! Nico and his wife were great to us. An excellent meal, a unique fishing experience and beautiful moments to admire the coasts and the tranquility of the place. A big wow!

What a wonderful trip with a very generous & warm hearted couple. It was really the highlight of our Greek Island holiday. The scenery, the swimming, the food, the company all fantastic. Nico’s ability to get the boat into coves, sea caves & beaches was unbelievable & his 40 year knowledge unparalleled. Froso kept us entertained with her humour & beautiful food. You would be crazy to miss this trip—v highly recommended. Very fond memories to stay with us. Thx Nico & Froso.

Phenomenal experience! The most stunning locations with the bluest water I've ever seen, dramatic landscape, caves, beaches - the works! So much fun and such a welcoming couple that looked after us all so well. Delicious lunch cooked right on the boat from fish caught. Additional yummy snacks and free flowing wine. We've been on many boat trips/Island tours in different parts of Greece and this was definitely the best! Highly highly recommend. Thank you so much for a wonderful day.
