Tour Options
Itinerary
Enjoy views over Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, Rathlin Island, Sheep Island and the Scottish coast from the viewing point at Portaneevy. We won't be crossing the bridge as it is now a conservation site and closed to groups - but you'll experience the best views and get the opportunity to take awesome photos!
Arrive at the world-renowned Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most extraordinary natural landscapes in the world.
Drive past Dark Hedges on the way back to Belfast. This ancient tree lined road is probably the most famous haunted avenue in Europe! The road has been closed to public traffic recently so we won't be able to stop - however you'll enjoy some cool views as we drive by on an adjacent road!
We'll stop briefly at Carrick-a-Rede, famous for its rope bridge that once connected the mainland to the small island of Carrick.

Bus left at 8 o’clock sharp! The driver provided commentary on places of interest as we left the city. He also played Irish music on the way there and back, gave us some background info on Irish history and talked about folklore and superstitions. He was clear about departure times and gave advice on safety as it was a wet day. The Causeway was great to see but we didn’t go right down or climb up high as it was fairly slippery! We walked down to it but got the wee bus back up the hill as it’s quite steep. The time actually flew in and we felt a bit rushed at the end. Would have liked to have gone in the hotel for a cuppa as we were cold. It was still a fantastic experience though!
Great little half day tour if you're short on time, guide Rory great cràic & very informative, only negative is tour does not include time at bridge which apparently is not included anymore as coach can not get nearer so site needs to update itiniary to state this.
This was a very fun and informative trip. Our driver Rory did a fantastic job explaining everything we were seeing
It is a great place to visit, though since it is not close to Belfast this alternative by bus was absolutely fantastic, comfortable, and appart from visiting the Giant's Causeway you get to learn a lot about Ireland because the guide shares a lot of valuable information.
Gary was very knowledgeable, had well rehearsed jokes, and a pleasure to spend the day with! Just don’t be the last on the bus.
This half-day tour is perfect if you don't have too much time, but still want to see the giant causeway. The morning tour is nice because it is not so busy. The time you have at the stones is not very long, but it is enough to see it all clearly and take beautiful pictures. We are glad we made this choice.
Rory was great. He was funny and knowledgeable and a great driver with these tiny streets. He was very clear in his directions on when to be back and where to meet.
This trip was definitely one of the best I have ever been on and believe me I have been on many. The scenery is mind blowing and a must to see for everyone that visits Belfast. However what really made the trip for me was Colin our driver. His welcome was so friendly and it immediately put everyone at ease. Colin's knowledge of his subject was absolutely mind blowing. His pace, pitch, tone, volume and delivery of his messages were perfect. He managed to captivate his audience with just the right amount of honesty, austere and humour dependent on the subject matters. Colin is such an asset to his Company....many thanks for such a wonderful visit
Garry was a great driver and tour guide. Friendly. Informative. Recommended we go to the causeway first as it would get busier so we were able to take some great photos. It was much appreciated.
Morning half a day tour is perfect for this natural wonder. You'll beat the crowds that start arriving to the spot when you are leaving the place. The tour operator was efficient and the coach driver cum guide, Gerry, was informative and good.
