Lake Louise, often regarded as one of the most beautiful lakes in Canada, is nestled in the heart of Banff National Park, surrounded by majestic mountains and glaciers. The lake’s mesmerizing emerald color is a result of tiny mineral particles from the nearby glaciers that dissolve into the water, creating a stunning reflection. The area around the lake features the famous Lakeshore Trail, where visitors can stroll and enjoy the breathtaking natural scenery. In summer, you can even rent a canoe and paddle across the lake, immersing yourself in the cool, refreshing water. During winter, Lake Louise transforms into a winter wonderland, with ice sculptures and an outdoor ice rink adding to its charm. It's also a popular destination for skiing and snowshoeing.

Johnston Canyon is a beautiful and popular hiking destination located in Banff National Park. Known for its stunning waterfalls, the canyon features a series of pathways and bridges that lead visitors through narrow rock walls and past both lower and upper waterfalls. The hike is relatively easy and offers breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters, making it a must-see for nature lovers. In winter, the canyon transforms into a magical icy wonderland with frozen waterfalls, attracting visitors for ice walks and photography.

Tour to Banff

It was a great trip and enjoyed it. The two negative things was I had to seat over the wheel and it was very uncomfortable and the driver needs to give more information about things. I would recommend this tour.

Banff town, Lake Louise, Morraine lake, Johnston Canyon

We were at the meeting place as what we read from the website almost 30mins early. Then 10mins before the time, somebody called us and told us to meet them up somewhere, ask his name and told us his William the travel guide from Viator. He told us he will sent a text message for the new meeting place. Finally, got there only to be told that they will already been gone if we've been late for 2mins more. We told them, if they sent us an e-mail or text or call a day before about the change in the meeting place, we have been there much earlier. Still, we arrived in the new meeting place on the exact time. Another thing is when we are all inside the van, some of us notice how most of the windows are smudgy, even the ones pick up from the banff location reiterated how hard for them to see what the travel guide is telling, while complaining how they end up seating seperately eventhough they put to note they are a family. Even some of the passengers are noisy (even at the last leg of the tour) and loud to the point that the travel guide dude William told them to "keep quiet". All in all its still a good experience, kudos to William the travel guide for his patience and his knowledge about the places we go, he knows the route well and shared a lot of tips in taking photos. Maybe it will be nice if he had a buddy with him in his work, because, it really is a big work to hold and keep up a big tourist group. Still, we'd try to get this tour package again with William as our tour guide.

Your was wonderful. Tommy...

Your was wonderful. Tommy was great and extra helpful to us as we “lagged behind” a bit. Beautiful sights! Lake Moraine was unbelievable! You can see it easily at a lower level but worth the trip up to the top for the view! Be cautious climbing as it is a bit uneven while using the man made steps heading up

Operator response
