A fab trip, with a long bus ride, but totally worth it. The tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and funny!
This is a great way to see a lot of the beautiful country of Montenegro. Our guide Anastasia and our driver Nicola were great. I wished we had more time at the lake and some of the stops like the “breakfast” stop and the last coffee stop seemed unnecessary. I also wished that our guide had talked a little more about some of the history of Montenegro, particularly about the time of communism/Yugoslavia.
We went with Gardasevic and have to say the whole day was wonderful, guide was extremely informative driver was really good, good valve for what we see would recommend.
An excellent tour covering many highlights of Montenegro. Our guide Lilliana was brilliant, we gleaned so much information and knowledge from her about Montego, its people and history. In spite of it being a long day, we learnt so much from and our guide was fantastic.
It was very nice. The tourist guide was very informative and friendly. Like the bus driver. A very nice trip to the beautiful nature. Big thanks to them.
The tour has been very good, the guide, Viviana has been amazing, lots of information about the points travelled and Montenegro in general. I recommend the Park, the tour. It's very worth it.
The views are amazing. But everything about the tour organisation was terrible. So poorly managed and they do not care about your comfort or enjoyment. It’s a 13 hour journey, but ended up longer. We left before 7am and got back past 9pm. The promises of breakfast, lunch and dinner are hollow, all of the stops you make on the way are designed to benefit locals’ friends e.g. their souvenir shops, seriously expensive prices for basic goods, the restaurant. On the way you past by busy towns with supermarkets, cafes, bakeries, but instead you will stop at a desolate restaurant that doesn’t serve any food or snacks. The man told us there was no food, but one minute later came past with a freshly made omelette for the tour guide/driver. We were so hungry the whole time, nothing was open before 7am to prepare a breakfast ourselves. The lunch restaurant is really really overpriced, you are forced to stop there. I asked in advance if there was any other place for snacks on the way and the tour guide said no, but straight after lunch we were brought into an area with so many fast food and snack options for much cheaper. The whole tour feels designed for ripping you off, not a genuine experience of the country, cuisine, etc. the toilets on the way were all seriously filthy, with no toilet paper, a whole bus full of us, and 13+ hours. The amazing nature is really hindered by this journey and treatment, they have their priorities all wrong. The black lake is stunning, but you are only in reality given 30 minutes to see it. It was the tour I was most excited for, but turned out to be the biggest regret of the trip, a whole day unpleasant. Ultimate the nature is amazing but this tour is not the way to see it.
This was a full, active day — perfect if you like to see and do a lot while traveling. The tour was fast-paced and well-organized, with just enough time at each stop to enjoy the sights and take great photos. I loved how much we fit into one day without feeling rushed. If you enjoy nature, mountains, and staying on the move, this tour is a great way to experience Montenegro’s highlights!
A very nice trip. Good for everyone to handle. Duration approx. 13 hours. Yes, very long, but with that you can see about 2/3 of Montenegro. Great travel guide. Be sure to take water bottles with you!! Stops are sufficient and you always get out of the bus. Highly recommended. Lots of nature (meant positively). Almost all the highlights of Montenegro are visited.
The tour was good and they brought us to beautiful places but it’s a LOT of driving for one day, especially if u come from Kotor. Also it felt very rushed cos they are trying to fit so much in one day. If you come from Podgorica it’s ok. Also it kind of felt like it was mainly a Russian tour they just sell it on Viator to fill up the spaces so just a heads up. Better if you stay in Durmitor NP to be able to spend more time there and do hiking.
