Our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, and kept a good pace. He knew a lot about the site and its history
We planned the tour well in advance and then the day before the tour when we were traveling all day in airplanes, they texted me and by the time I landed and responded, they canceled my tour and gave my guide to another group. Do not go with this incompetent company unless you want broken promises and your trip ruined.
Amazing experience, Monte Alban is impressive and more so when you visit with a friendly and informative guide like Rocio. Ideal to occupy the morning and return to visit the center of Oaxaca. 100% recommended.
Carlos picked us up from our Airbnb right on time and took us to meet our guide Xenon at Monte Alban. He started the tour with a prayer in the Zapotec language asking for permission from the ancestors for our visit. He was really passionate about the history of the site and enhanced his descriptions with illustrations and photos on his iPad and in a magazine. We all learned a lot from him. Highly recommend a guided tour of this place to bring the ruins to life! When the tour was over we spent some quality time getting to know Carlos while part of our group waited for the others to finish shopping.
