Your journey starts right at the Le Havre cruise port, where our friendly team will greet you and guide you to a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. Designed with your relaxation in mind, the bus provides a smooth and scenic ride lasting approximately 3 to 3.5 hours. As you travel through Normandy’s picturesque landscapes, your guide will bring the region to life with fascinating stories about its history, culture, and landmarks. From the parking area, you'll take a complimentary shuttle (Passeur) to the island entrance. This convenient 15-20 minute transfer includes a brief walk to the shuttle stop, and the vehicles are wheelchair accessible, ensuring a smooth experience for all visitors. Begin your visit with a guided walking tour of the lower village. Wander the cobblestone streets of the Grand Rue, admire the towering medieval ramparts, and take in panoramic views of the bay. Your guide will share insights into the island’s historical importance, its unique architecture, and its enduring significance as a pilgrimage site. This portion of the tour is designed to be accessible for all fitness levels, requiring no major climbing.
After the guided tour, enjoy free time to explore Mont Saint-Michel at your own pace. Guests have the option to: Visit the Abbey: For those who wish to explore the iconic abbey, you can climb the 350 steps to the top of the rock and tour this architectural masterpiece. The abbey features Gothic cloisters, panoramic views of the tidal flats, and intricate details that tell the story of its spiritual and historical significance. Please note that the abbey entrance ticket (€16) is not included in the tour price and can be purchased on-site. Relax in the Lower Village: For those who prefer a more leisurely experience, explore the charming shops, photograph the stunning architecture, or dine at a local restaurant offering authentic French cuisine. Savor Normandy’s regional specialties, including savory crêpes, fresh seafood, and buttery pastries. Your guide will be available to answer questions and offer recommendations during your free time.
At the designated time, regroup with your guide and return to the shuttle stop for the 15-20 minute transfer back to the parking area. After a memorable visit to Mont Saint-Michel, settle back into your comfortable coach for the return journey to Le Havre. Your guide will be on hand to answer any final questions or share more about the Normandy region. The drive back includes a short rest stop to ensure your comfort. Arrive at the Le Havre cruise port well before your ship’s departure, leaving plenty of time to board and relax.

Absolutely amazing tour to Mont Saint Michel. Saint Michel is so breathtaking to look at. Tour was well worth it and included a tasty ‘French’ lunch consisting of a drink, a Ham and Cheese baguette, macaroons as a dessert and potato crisps as a snack so we didn’t go hungry. Having a prepared lunch to take with us enable everyone more time to explore Saint Michel. Our tour was made more perfect because of our exceptional guide Maja who was so knowledgeable of the area and its history and who also spoke fluent English which made our communication a breeze. Maja went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed the tour. A shout out also to our bus driver Mohamed who was excellent and very safe driver.

Best excursion on or world cruise so far. Well researched and presented by Maja (our blonde Wonder Woman!). We had an absolutely marvellous day exploring the stunning Mont Saint Michel. We were blessed with spectacular weather. The packed lunch was delicious and typically French. Maja is the most intelligent, interesting, courteous guide we feel we have had in all of our travels. Packed lunch and cider on the way back were really much appreciated.
Our guide Onome was very friendly, informative, and helpful. She provided some nice history as well as referrals for places to eat and things to see. Our bus driver made us lose about 20 min as he didn't make the correct turn in order to park our bus at the convenience store. This made him have to get back out on the highway and do a loop. At one point, he turned down a one way street and had to back up to get turned around. On top of that, he spent the entire day riding on or over the center line. The packed lunch & snacks were meh. You can survive on them, but they're nothing to write home about. The cider, even though I don't drink, was a nice touch. Mont St Michele is picturesque and the views from the top are incredible. Yes, I would recommend this tour.

Mont Saint-Michel is incredible, you cannot miss it; the landscapes take your breath away and its streets transport you 500 years into the past. The visit to the Abbey is a dream, and if you hear the monks' chants during the 12:30 mass, it is a gift. Our guide Maja is very pleasant and detail-oriented; she took us to the door of the Abbey so that we would not waste time.
