Strapped into your seat with helmet and protective gear on, brace yourself for the power and brute force of an all-terrain monster 4X4 truck. No roof, no doors – there’s nothing between you and great outdoors. Your professional driver will tackle local terrain in the 4X4 monster jeep with custom built chassis and suspension. The V6 Holden engine will propel you through our private native bush using all of its front & rear steering abilities

OMG OMG, was white knuckles, but soooo good
Hi, thanks for the 5 star review of our Monster 4X4 Thrill Ride! She is a bit of a white knuckle rollercoaster ride! hope you get a chance to come back and try it when its raining... ;-)
It was so cool, staff were lovely, went for about 10mins, well worth it. Good signage to get there..

This experience should have taken 10 mins, but it only took us 7 mins ,maybe because we were the last group

I highly recommend this experience! It's was an absolute blast! Will do it again. The driver was very skilled and down to earth.
Not even the rain could dampen our fun and sense of adventure. The staff were very informative and thorough with an awesome sense of humour as they briefed us on safety procedures in both the 4WD and the Go Carts. Everybody had absolute fun with this activity, and I highly recommend to anyone who hasn't done this, to definitely give it a go.

The kids (14, 12, 9, 6) loved this ride in light rain- the wetter and muddier the better! Best parts were in the bush, roller coaster and widow maker. They provided helpful wet weather gear. Could have been exceptional value but was just too short at about 10 minutes max. Few customers the day we went so no queues.

So much fun! Would have loved for it to be a little longer, but it is what it is, we all had an amazing time. Driver was a laugh too.
Great to hear you enjoyed our Monster 4X4 Thrill Ride, the Drivers definitely add to the experience! For a longer 4WD experience we would recommend our 4WD Bush Safari which is a self-drive adventure lasting 45 minutes to an hour. We look forward to seeing you again soon! Kind regards, Toni.
I cant rave enough about how much of a adrenaline rush the Monster 4x4 Thrill Ride was. My staff thoroughly enjoyed this experience and we all rate it 10 out of 10 . We all want to go back and do it again. Off Road NZ staff were friendly and kept the laughs rolling . Rotorua Thermal Holiday Park thank you for this experience .
