Itinerary
After meeting outside the port, your friendly guide will escort you to our a/c van/bus. Our journey starts with a drive through Puerto Plata City, until escaping to the lush Dominican countryside.
Now it’s time to immerse yourself in the enchanting world of squirrel monkeys. These curious and friendly creatures will jump, climb, and interact with you, feed them and create magical moments and memories which will last forever. You will learn fascinating facts about their behavior and habitat while being able to capture incredible photos to remember your day. Next, you’ll have the opportunity to try and/or purchase authentic coffee, chocolate and/or cigars!
Next, we head to the Adventure Park, where breathtaking views of the tropical landscape are awaiting you. Glide through treetops and feel the adrenaline rush on 8 ACCT Certified Zip Lines. Get to taste a home-cooked Dominican meal and feel free to purchase a cold beverage at the bar! If you’re still up for more, we will take you on a short walk through our tropical garden, where you can meet our Macaws, Cockatoos, African Greys, Toucans and more!

Amber cove/Puerto Plata was my family's second stop on our 6 day cruise on the Carnival Magic and by far was our favorite excursion! I think because we booked with Cruise Direct we were the only people on the tour bus so it felt more intimate and personal. Our tour guide was Mallory and she was very attentive and personable. She was very informative and put up with all of our questions! On top of Mallory all the other personnel with Country World Adventures were also great! We can't forget "mi Gente" Cuchillo! We just wanted to thank everyone at Country World Adventures! Next time we come back to Dominican Rwpublic we'll most assuredly book another excursion with you all!
Monkey experience was great, you have a lot of interaction with them. The zipline is lots of fun as well!
Wonderful experience with all the zips and the monkeys! Both were so great that we couldn't pick a favorite. Love the small groups and price was perfect. And love that they have a photographer to capture your experience. Was nice not missing out with the experience, while trying to get your own photos. Would highly recommend. Everyone one there was friendly and kind. Food was amazing. Will definitely come back as they have loads of excursions there. Zips were so fun and they did all the work, you just sat back and enjoyed the ride. Photos were a great price and were delivered on time (to your computer). Can't say enough !!!! Take my word for it, I don't do the ships excursions anymore, as these are small and more personal. !!!!!

My adult son, his friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Our driver, Luis, was great and our tour guide, Kennedy, was fantastic. Kennedy was very informative. Our stop at Monkeyland was more than we expected. The little monkeys were adorable and fun. We also learned about local coffee and cocoa and got to grind some coffee the old fashioned way. There were exotic birds. We also learned about different local plants. The guides at Monkeyland were so friendly. Then we went on to Countryland Adventure Park. The zipline course was fantastic. It was a bit tougher than we anticipated as the walk to some of the lines was up steep hills and one platform in particular was very high. But it was worth the effort. The scenery was beautiful and the guides were patient. We also enjoyed a delicious lunch and then went though the garden where we saw flamingos, tropical birds and learned about different plants and trees. If you are considering this tour versus a ship tour, I’d recommend this one for sure.
This excursion was amazing!! We had so much fun and the monkeys were so sweet and friendly! Our guide Chander was awesome! We also got to taste the chocolate, coffee and watch cigars get made. Great gift shop after the monkey tour too with better prices on larimar than in port! Our bus driver Daniel and tour guide JB were super friendly and accommodating. Lunch was incredible and fresh and we met and chatted with Daniel, the owner of this tour company who was also wonderful and he took great care of us! This tour company is fantastic! We used a different tour company on a previous trip but Country World Adventure Park is so much better! The transportation was very nice and the building where we had lunch was beautiful and clean! Highly recommend to all!!
We had a great tour with Jhoan as our funny, informative guide!! He was very helpful all along the tour. We had a great time! We visited the monkeys with Mario, had cocoa and coffee. The monkeys were so fun to watch and touch and we enjoyed the education. We were greeted by Rose and toured the gardens and animals with Jimmy. So many plants and birds to experience and touch. Excellent family run tours, awesome meal and superb personal service! Waters provided and attention to details! We are thankful for this experience!

This tour was great! We were two families traveling together, including kids aged 11-16, and everyone had a fantastic time. Jhoan was a fabulous guide and Luis was a wonderful driver. Highly recommend this tour!
