Julien is an exceptional guide and an accomplished student of art history. He taught us about Monet the man by telling us the story of his life and guiding us to stand in the places where he lived, was inspired, created his works, and died. It was a peak behind the curtain that allowed us to walk in the actual footsteps of the man. Being guided to stand in and see a glimpse of Monet's world, I now see his work with a far deeper appreciation for the genius of his impressionistic expression of his vision on canvas. Thank you, Julien.

This Tour is not worth at all The price is steep and expensive $1000.00 for two and is not worth at all
Dear Satish, We are sorry to read that you were disappointed with your experience. However, we do not fully understand your comment regarding the price. Our rates are clearly displayed before booking, and every guest is free to decide whether our private tour meets their expectations. There are no hidden fees or misleading information. Your tour included private transportation in a Mercedes vehicle, admission tickets to Monet's House and Gardens (which are often sold out online), and the services of a licensed professional guide who accompanied you throughout the visit. In fact, the guide assigned to your tour is considered one of our most experienced and highly appreciated guides in Paris. If price was the only factor in your evaluation, we certainly respect your opinion. However, we believe it is important to consider the complete private experience and the level of service provided. Thank you for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Overcrowded, overrated, overplanted and poorly organised. What we hoped would be a highlight experience left us very disappointed indeed. I could not possibly recommend this costly day out to anyone.

We had a driver/guide to take us from Paris to Giverny. Although it rained, we had a wonderful time. We skipped the lines and toured the house, garden and grave. Loved it.
We started in the Japanese Gardens and ended in the main gardens. The floral beauty was breathtaking. The house itself was filled with traditional and Japanese paintings both of which he loved to paint. The rooms were attractively decorated. My favorite was the stove in the kitchen
Our guide was exceptional. On the way to Giverny he gave us a history of Monet’s life. We arrived at opening time and he guided us through the house before it got crowded. After that we were free to tour the gardens and pond. On the way back to Paris he pointed out places Monet had lived and painted. Finally he dropped us off in Paris at a very nice place for lunch. A great day.
Even if you don't know anything about (impressionist) painting but only like flowers and gardens, the visit to the Monet house and gardens is worthwhile. A great experience with lush flowers. You have to be able to deal with the tourist crowds a bit. It's natural after Mont St. Michel the second attraction of Normandy. We had already visited a few times high-summer but now in the spring the flower garden was a splendour. The water lilies were not yet blooming but only the American, Japanese and Chinese tourists were sorry. The ponds remain fantastic and of course Monet was also about just the reflection of the light and the movement of the water.
Lucille was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend her as a guide. Provide much valuable insight.
