Moalboal Sardines Run Private Tour w/ Transfers Option

This is a great experience. Good for beginners. Most of the reef is shallow and you can see sardines without heading into deep water. Awesome to see turtles.

Amazing kind and friendly team, made sure we got the pictures. Sardines were amazing and just off the shoreline, 5 m into the water and we got to see a turtle and plenty small tropical fish! I hired the gopro and did snorkeling and it was absolutely worth it!

We are seniors around 70 years old and have travelled the world extensively. We stayed two nights to maximise our chance of doing this in water activity in case weather went against us. Best done early morning about 7am to get calm water and less crowds. Highly recommend Baruddy & Sherlita's Snorkelling Tour Services as they supplied excellent snorkelling equipment, go pro underwater camera, life vests and two guides. Our young fit guides were caring, kind and ensured we maximised our experience leaving with great videos. You need a local environment licence to doing any in water activity in the area to fund the sanctuary to protect this area for the future. Hint: Take a photo of the receipt as proof to use it multiple times. I highly recommend using local guides to get the best experience. Two of us paid P1700 all up for everything including toilets, showers and change rooms at the end.

Great experience (my guide was a minor though) he was very patient, recorded amazing videos and we were able to move to places where the other groups were not in, so I was able to get shots of myself with no one around me, even with turtles.

Made the reservation, received confirmation from victor but the guide didn’t show up. The add doesn’t specify which company and when we finally found the company’s name, they never responded to our message.

Upgraded to dive on the day because we felt so comfortable with the guides and it ended up being the most unexpectedly calm and magical experience.

The Moalboal sardine run is an absolutely incredible sight to swim through a living ocean of silver and something everyone should experience at least once. Seeing thousands of sardines moving as one just a few meters from shore is unreal. Just be prepared, the water can get very crowded, especially during peak times. It was hard to relax and fully enjoy the experience. But it's still worth the visit.

Such a cool experience and definitely worthwhile to go with a guide who can show you the perfect spots plus take cool pictures while you’re enjoying the experience!

This was simply an awesome experience. I took my wine and my 77yo mother, who both cannot swim. The guides were just brilliant! Jonathan organized to have us picked up from our BnB and the 2 boys who took us into the water were very professional.

The whole experience was magnificent, and our guide Jonathan was an expert with the underwater photography and filling. The kind of experience you'll never forget.
