Description

Guests will hike their way on the rock fins towards drainages and canyons that lead to two rappels. The first rappel sends visitors into the slot canyon, Medieval Chamber. Rappelling through this canyon displays the beautiful layers of sandstone that have been dispersed over millions of years. The canyon then opens up to make way for the second rappel. This unique free hanging rappel is a breathtaking 120 feet next to Morning Glory Natural Bridge. The bridge measures 243 feet in width, making it one of the longest natural land bridges in the United States. Once at the bottom visitors are able to enjoy the scenic hike Grandstaff Canyon towards the Colorado River.

My new hobby

I loved rappelling so much it has become my new hobby. Our guide Kelsey was awesome. Love how the whole experience was laid back but full of adrenaline. Great company to go with, recommend choosing them. Hands down would do it again.

Loved our rappelling adventure!

My family of 4 traveled to Moab from Virginia and were excited to try some canyoneering. I was nervous about the rappelling and afraid my kids would back out, but our guide, Nate, made the experience very comfortable for everyone. We found the 2nd rappel (free hanging) to be easier than the first one, so don't give up if you think the first one is hard. The slot canyon and the final stream area are so pretty. We were the only ones on our tour, and our guide told us a lot about the area as we went. The hike out was the hardest part... not strenuous, just a bit long in the hot Utah sun!

3 Gen Group Rappel

Nate from Paddle Moab made our rappelling experience outstanding. As a three generation group (13,45,72) doing our first rappel, Nate was great in making the process understandable and eased us thru our initial adrenaline rush. He was extremely insightful through our 1 mile walkin and 2 mile walkout enjoying our time together. Highly recommend.

Paddle Moab Delivers an Amazing Adventure

Fantastic experience with Paddle Moab! The hike and rappelling were incredible—an ideal mix of adventure and fun without ever feeling overwhelming. Nate, our guide, was personable, knowledgeable, and kept everything running seamlessly, which made the entire 4-hour trip feel both safe and relaxed. From start to finish, it was a great outing and one we’d absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a memorable Moab experience.
