Kat was the best. Highly recommend!

First time canyoneering. Challenging but very doable. Enjoyed every bit of it. Kat was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Rewarding rappels for somewhat challenging hike

We went on the private half day canyoning through Bow and Arrow Canyon with our kids (9 and 12). After talking with the company, we chose this hike for the four rappels. Our guide did a great job, we always felt safe and we really enjoyed the varying terrain and scenery. It was a little more physical than we expected, or maybe felt that way because of the heat (we left early but first week of June was still HOT). I think the morning definitely showed our kids they can do hard things! The rappelling was the easy part (except for my husband, who is afraid of heights, but he did it for the kids!). The hike into the canyon is about two hours and includes rock scrambling (which is fun) and a pretty long section of hiking in sand that is fully exposed (and not as fun). My son, who is very athletic but has asthma, got winded a few times. We are of average to slightly above fitness level and live at sea level (although this was day four for us at elevation). Would we do this exact hike again? Only if it was cooler. But the general idea of canyoning is definitely something we’ll seek out (except for my husband- haha) and this tour company is one we’d recommend and work with again.

Bow and Arrow Canyoneering Adventure with Kat

Just got back from a family trip to Moab where we did the Bow and Arrow Canyoneering tour...can't stop looking at the pictures! This adventure was a family favorite and highlight of the trip. Our guide Kat was the BEST! Her energy, enthusiasm, knowledge and professionalism is unrivaled. She is a blast to hang around with and will get you over the edge and down the face safely. Do yoursel a favor and book this adventure with Kat as your guide. You can thank me later.

Looking Glass Arch with Kat

We climbed looking glass arch with Kat. She was incredible. My girlfriend was very nervous and she did a great job keeping her calm and keeping things moving at the same time. Climb is easy but fun, and the rappel is out of this world. Great energy great experience!

The Kat’s Pajamas

bsolutely amazing four-hour canyoneering of Bow and Arrow! Our guide Kat was knowledgeable, fun, and great with our nine and twelve-year olds. She helped all of us first-time rappellers safely down four fantastic descents, including two with a little free fall. The hike to to rappelling locations was stunning with history (Dino tracks and petroglyphs), beautiful wild flowers, and pictures-perfect vistas. If you are in Moab, canyoneering is a must, and if you’re really lucky, you might get to go with Kat!

Springtime tour of Entrajo Canyon was a blast!

James was the Entrajo Canyon guide for myself, my 8 year old daughter, and 12 year old son. He conveniently picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in Moab. In addition to being a guide, James also works for Search and Rescue (SAR) in the area. Needless to say, you are in good hands. This was a really fun introduction to canyoneering and James was a great guide. It is challenging, but certainly doable. We did the tour in April and the water in the pools was in the 40 degree range. My daughter got a little cold for the deep pool crossing and James literally gave her the shirt of his back to warm her up. I highly recommend this tour for those looking for an introduction to this unique sport.

Great morning of hiking and rappelling!

We had a picture perfect morning for our hike and rappels with Kat. I’m kinda old for this sort of thing, lol, so it was challenging but fun at the same time. Kat kept us safe and gave us the all the info about the area we were in. Truly enjoyed it. For others in their 60s, don’t be afraid to try, but realize the hike involves some rock scrambling and effort. The rappelling is the easy part!
