Moab Morning Half Day Jeep Tour

Description
Our specially designed, open-air vehicles let passengers get a taste for four-wheeling on the red-rocks. Those looking to teeter the tires and surge with adrenaline cliffside need not apply for this tour! What is extreme are the viewpoints, not the ride itself. Our routes cruise through crumbling canyons, gravity-defying hoodoos, hidden arches, and precious petroglyphs. In between stops for photos and exploring the sites, your guide will provide explanations of Moab’s insane geology and drama-filled history. Moab’s surreal landscapes are an off-roading utopia. With sloping avenues of slickrock and terracotta, getting to the backcountry of Mars on Earth is a surprisingly short commute. While we’ve got nothing against a good old fashioned ramble through the desert, taking a scenic Jeep Tour can be a much more effective and comfortable way to reach the area’s signature sites.

Itinerary
Meet us at our Moab Office, where your guide will be waiting with a custom Jeep Gladiator ready to take you onto the trails. Depending on which area we’ll be exploring that day, we may drive through town and along the highway until reaching the trailhead. From there we’ll spend about 3 hours traversing through red rock canyons, with plenty of opportunities to get out and check out the sites. Some trails are rougher than others, but we typically pick a smoother route for the morning tour versus the afternoon tours. These trips are great for all ages, and are much more geared toward the sites, scenery and in-depth interpretations rather than extreme thrills. Your guide will share more knowledge about the area than you’ll know what to do with! Expect to hear about Moab's crazy geology, wild history, and ancient indigenous cultures. You’ll come back with a greater appreciation of how incredible and unique Moab’s surrounding landscapes truly are.

We had a ball on our jeep tour. Darren was so knowledgeable and personable. He was patient with our questions and put up with our jokes. We enjoyed his company so much we requested him for our Arches tour the next day. I would definitely use Mild to Wild again.

Lead by Darren, our family had a most memorable half day in Moab. We covered more ground than we could have hoped for and truly appreciated Darren’s knowledge of the park, the history of the area and the sharing of his own Native American life experiences. HIGHLY recommend both Darren and the company.
Thank you, Anne, for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that Darren helped make your family's half day in Moab so memorable. Darren’s passion for the park’s history and his willingness to share his Native American heritage are qualities we deeply value in our team. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you and your family on another Mild to Wild adventure soon!
What a fantastic adventure!! We chose the mild morning jeep tour. . Devon was our driver and guide. She made us aware of staying safe and hydrated during our trip. Once we were on our way she made our trip adventurous, informative and most of all…. Fun. The jeep ride is an adventure in itself, up and down trails, open air, and a little bumpy at times…we loved it! Devon’s love of these mountains shows in her enthusiasm to share her knowledge. I recommend this trip and ask for Devon. We are so happy we chose this company. We felt safe and what a way to really see the majesty of Moab.
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re so glad you enjoyed the Jeep tour and felt both safe and adventurous with Devon as your guide. Her passion for the area truly shines through. We appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you back to experience more of Moab’s beauty!
Our guide Devon was excellent! We wanted to experience a Jeep ride in Moab but kept it on the mild trail to the Wind Rock (which was wild enough for us!) We learned a lot of information from her along the way. I would recommend this half day trip for the experience and the views! Our family enjoyed it. (I suggest you wear a hat that has a chin strap, so it doesn't fly away!) Thank you, Devon, for your informative tour!
Awesome to hear Devon helped make your adventure memorable! We'll be sure to let them know your feedback.
Our second booking with Mild to Wild. We thoroughly enjoyed the day. Great scenery and Sam was an outstanding driver as well as a great tour guide. Highly recommend them for rafting and jeep tours.

It lasts 4 hours and bring bandana to cover mouth and nose from dust. Our guide Brianna was great. Beautiful scenery but rough road in spots.
Thank you, Jeannie, for your wonderful review and your kind words about your guide, Brianna. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful scenery on your tour, and appreciate your practical tip about bringing a bandana! The dusty and bumpy parts of the road add to the adventure, but we understand they can be a challenge, and we always aim to prepare our guests as best we can. Thanks again for choosing Mild to Wild Rafting & Jeep Tours and sharing your experience with us. We look forward to your next visit!
