Mindo Cloud Forest Full Day Tour from Quito

Had the best day feeding hummingbirds and butterflies, riding a cable cart through the canopy, hiking and swimming at waterfall and learning all about how chocolate is made. Josua was an excellent guide and switched seamlessly between Spanish and English even though we were the only 2 non Spanish speakers on the tour. Highly highly recommend this tour. Great value for money

Beautiful landscapes! Amazing experience getting to feed the hummingbirds. Jessica was a great guide and kept us on track. Pro tip: WEAR INSECT REPELLENT. We were attacked by these small biting flies called Midges.

We had a wonderful experience on our trip to Mindo. Ernesto was fundamental to making this day special. He is an extremely attentive guide, always with a smile on his face and a good contagious mood. During the whole journey, he shared fascinating curiosities about the places we passed, which enriched the tour a lot. In addition, he was super helpful, helping us with photos and ensuring we had the best experience possible. He really makes a difference and takes care of every detail with great affection. I would also like to highlight the work of Jonathan, our driver. Even dealing with roads full of curves, he led us safely and a smooth direction, which left us calm all the time. All we have to do is thank this fantastic couple for making our day in Mindo memorable. I highly recommend!

I highly recommend the Mindo tour - it is so full of first-time experiences that you almost forget real life isn't like that - a thrill-a-minute - all the time! We had delicate little hummingbirds alighting on our hands one moment, and bright blue butterflies eating food off our fingers the next. We went on an exciting ride in a cable car above the trees, followed by a short hike through the peaceful rainforest that was punctuated by a refreshing swim in a stunningly beautiful waterfall in between. Every moment packed full of delight and wonder! And what's more: it all felt so easy, with a capable tour guide and driver, Diana and Ivan, who took such good care of us. Diana switched easily from English to Spanish for the multi-lingual crowd, and never seemed bothered by having to look backwards while narrating the tour on such windy, curvy roads. Most memorable was watching part of Ecuador's third World Cup game over lunch and then waiting to hear the final score - in full suspense as we lost service part of the way back - before finding out, joyfully, that Ecuador had won against Germany, successfully advancing to the next stage. Everyone enjoyed celebrating with Ivan and Diana - and all of Ecuador, really - all the way back to Quito.

Excellent day with guide Irene. Pick up seamless and on time with a great communication through whatsapp. Small group with 9 people. Amazing places to visit including hummingbirds, butterflies, waterfall and a chocolate tasting. The guide was super friendly and knowledgeable, excellent bilingual explanation. Great value for money, have booked another tour with them.

The tour was amazing, a beautiful connection with nature. It’s worth it to get to know some of the biodiversity of the equator and be close to the local nature. The guide Lizbeth is a light and friendly person, and was an excellent guide for the group, sharing her knowledge about the locations. The driver Ivan also very friendly and responsible in traffic Super recommend!

Irene, our tour guide, was truly amazing! She was warm, funny, and knowledgeable and she made the long day very fun! It wasn't really in my plans to go to Mindo, but I'm so glad I did. Being surrounded by hundreds or thousands of hummingbirds, and hand feeding them, was truly magical. The butterfly part of it wasn't as interesting but still nice. We also hiked down a hill to a cool waterfall, and go to do a chocolate tasting. I highly recommend this tour, and Irene.

Amazing amazing!!! Irene was an incredible, kind, knowledgeable and fun guide! She showed us the beautiful sights of Mindo and took us in an adventure in the rain to the waterfall - it was fantastic!! What a day! Thank you for everything!
