Phenom experience! Too hot though and no air conditioning- be forewarned if you go during the hot summer months!

Perfect Italian experience

Great experience, we have learned how to do ravioli, pasta and tiramisu. It was so tasty that I have ordered pasta making machine and will do the receipt at home. Very nice explanation and organization, great atmosphere. We have really enjoyed this evening!

Decent pasta, mediocre experience

I really wanted to love this experience, but unfortunately, it was incredibly disappointing for me and my friends. First, the address listed on the booking was incorrect. It took us to a completely different location from where the class was actually being held. We were not the only ones confused by this, and multiple people arrived late as a result. By the time we arrived, the class had already begun, the dough had been made, and a significant portion of the instruction had already been provided. When we arrived and asked for some guidance, there was very little assistance from the instructor, and we ended up relying on other members of the class to show us what to do. When instruction was provided, it was not clear, guided, or thorough enough for any of us to really understand the process. We also expected to learn how to make multiple types of pasta, including stuffed pasta such as ravioli. Instead, we were taught to make only one type of pasta—a basic noodle pasta. We had also expected to make our own sauces to accompany the pasta, but that was not the case. All of the sauces were premade, and we simply selected which sauce we wanted to pair with our noodles. Another major issue was the timing of the food. The pasta dishes came out at different times, so while some people were finished and ready to leave, others were still waiting for their food and were understandably hungry and frustrated. The tiramisu portion was also primarily an assembly activity. We did not get to participate in making the cream or the ladyfingers, which was disappointing given that this was advertised as a cooking class. This experience could have been excellent with a few important changes: clearly specifying the class location on the TripAdvisor booking, providing more hands-on instruction, giving clearer and more thorough directions, and having the instructor check in with students regularly to make sure everyone was following along. I also found it particularly unprofessional that the instructor answered a personal phone call while actively instructing the class. Overall, I was really looking forward to this experience, but unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations and did not feel like the hands-on pasta-making class we thought we were booking. I made it firm without making it overly harsh, which will generally make the review more persuasive to future customers.

Becoming a little more Italian

The guides were funny ans did a great job explaining everything. You get the recipes at the end of the class and you will not leave feeling hungry. We had a lot of fun and can wholeheartedly recommend this

AMAZING!

Excellent experience. Mimo is very kind and generous (and interesting as well)! The food delicious. The tips and tricks were very interesting and helpful. I feel he did much more than should have been expected. TripAdvisor should make the address a bit more clear when booking and add it to the ticket. We saw the Navigli address and arrived late due to that. Even so, Mimo was very kind and understanding when we made him wait and held back the group.
