Itinerary
The largest church in Italy. It took almost six centuries to complete, but it was worth every moment. The Duomo of Milan tells a story of faith and art spanning over six centuries. Construction work on the Duomo of Milan probably began in 1386, when the style of Gothic cathedrals had reached its peak, and it was only in the second half of the 20th century that the Fabbrica undertook the complete, structural and conservative restoration of the building. Located in the heart of Milan. It is 515 ft (157 metres) long and 302 ft (92 m) wide. It can house up to 40.000 people.
La Scala, or Teatro alla Scala in Italian, is one of the most famous opera houses in the world. Its sober and elegant exterior never fails to surprise those that visit it for the first time. Many famous operas have had their first production in La Scala, such as Othello, Nabucco by Verdi, and Madame Butterfly by Giacomo Puccini. Take a look from the outside and go on with the rest of the tour!
Between the Theatre and the Galleria Vittorio Manuel II is the Piazza della Scala, a lively square with a large statue of Leonardo da Vinci in the centre. Here you can rest on the benches surrounded by pretty greenery.
The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, which is sometimes nicknamed “il salotto di Milano” (Milan’s drawing room), is an elegant nineteenth-century shopping arcade. It houses some of the most luxurious boutiques in Milan. this magnificent shopping arcade is one of the most interesting sights in the city.
Milano too has its own fairy tale, or rather it has its own fairy-tale castle, Castello Sforzesco, one of the largest in Europe. Throughout history, this imposing complex has played many roles: defensive fortress, ducal residence and military barracks. Nowadays, its magnificent interior hosts Milano’s Municipal museums and other cultural institutions, but the castle grounds are fascinating in themselves, with large courtyards, massive walls, moat, towers (entrance is free excluding the museums), crenulated battlements and the green expanse of Parco Sempione. The castle’s origins date back to 1358 - 1368 when the first nucleus was known as the Castello di Porta Giovia and was used as a residence but mainly as a military defensive complex by Galeazzo II Visconti, Duke of Milano. Over the centuries, the Castello expanded until it became one of the main military citadels in seventeenth-century Europe. Take a look from the outside and go on with the rest of the tour!
Santa Maria delle Grazie is a historic church in Milan, Italy, renowned for housing one of the world's most famous artworks, Leonardo da Vinci's "The Last Supper." Constructed in the late 15th century, this UNESCO World Heritage Site showcases stunning Renaissance architecture, including a striking Gothic facade. Inside, visitors can marvel at the exquisite beauty of "The Last Supper," a masterpiece depicting the moment of Jesus Christ's final meal with his disciples. The church's significance as a cultural and religious landmark attracts countless visitors seeking to admire both its architectural splendor and the profound artistic legacy it houses.
Leonardo's Last Supper (Cenacolo in Italian) is one of the most famous paintings in the world. This artwork was painted between 1494 and 1498 under the government of Ludovico il Moro and represents the last "dinner" between Jesus and his disciples. Is located in its original place, on the wall of the dining room of the former Dominican convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie. We take care of booking Last Supper tickets. Ask us as soon as possible!

Very nice informative tour with Laura- we saw the Duomo (this tour does not include tickets to the top, FYI, so you would need to purchase them separately and visit the top on your own time), walked through the Galleria, briefly passed by Sforza Castle and saw The Last Supper. Laura studied art history so she was very knowledgeable about the painting. The tour was at our own pace and we felt like we got a great overview of Milan and saw the 2 main sites we wanted to visit. Would recommend!
Ask for Laura Gioia! Her private tour was the highlight of our trip. Laura is brilliant in knowledge, but the way she speaks and interacts with her clients! Worth every euro and would highly recommend!
Luca was very knowledgeable and willing to go the extra mile for you. Would definitely use him again
We had a fantastic tour with our guide Emanuela! It was an informative, fun morning. Would definitely recommend it!
Our guide was very friendly and patient with us. She has so much information and made seeing these locations much better than us trying to figure it out on our own.
Super nice to have a private tour with experienced guide. Our guide had excellent English and in-depth knowledge of Milan.
This was a great tour! Paula did an excellent job showing us around Milan and sharing the history of her city. She even had great restaurant recommendations for us. Would highly recommend.
Tour was private (wasn’t clearly noted) and the guide was very warm and informative. While seeing the Last Supper is hard to do given the limited tickets, I am not sure this tour is worth the money for 3 hours and 3 sites.
Our Milan Private Day Tour was an absolute highlight of our trip! Our guide, Fiamma, was knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fascinating insights about the city. During our visit to the terraces of the Duomo di Milano, she pointed out details we never would have noticed on our own. We visited many of Milan’s iconic landmarks, concluding with The Last Supper, which was truly unforgettable. Fiamma kept a close eye on the schedule to ensure we didn’t miss our timed entry, yet we never felt rushed. She adjusted the itinerary as we went along to match our pace and interests. This private tour was the perfect way to see the best of Milan in a short amount of time. Highly recommended!
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We are thrilled to hear that your private Milan tour was a highlight of your trip and that Fiamma helped make the experience so memorable. It’s great to hear that you enjoyed exploring the Duomo terraces, Milan’s iconic landmarks, and of course The Last Supper. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you on another tour in the future! Warm regards, The Eyes of Rome Team
Our guide, Ema, was very good. But this private tour is not worth 800 euros for 2 people. We had another tour booked that canceled at the last minute and this was our only choice. Would recommend our guide but not the price for the tour.
Dear Angela, Thank you very much for sharing your feedback. We’re truly glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with Ema. We’re sorry to hear, however, that you felt the tour did not reflect the value of its price. Our private tours are priced to include exclusive entrance tickets, skip-the-line access, and a completely personalized experience with a dedicated guide, which naturally affects the overall cost. Your feedback is extremely valuable to us, and we’ll certainly take it into consideration as we continue to review our services and pricing. Thank you again for choosing to tour with us, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future. Kind regards, The Eyes of Rome Team
