When we booked with tripadvisor we received an emailed voucher. On the voucher it stated that it was a ticket. We were in entrance line for an hour when finally found out we needed to convert voucher to ticket. Having to get out of line. We Called TripAdvisor and they said they emailed tickets. So they sent another email which we received with links to tickets. Got back in line for another hour. Later in the day after visiting Duomo Milan we finally received original email with tickets. Very slow internet caused a lot headaches.
We went to Duomo, no Viator guide identified in sight, ticket office could offer no help, we only had voucher and thought guide would hand us tix, waited waited, then spent 20 more euro on 2 tix with no tour, very disappointed. Shouldn’t guide have made clear where to meet, just said “Duomo” terrible, I want my 40+ euro back!

I had tickets to the dome but I had to purchase separate tickets just to get in the church. That part was inconvenient because I had to get out of line and get back in line after I purchased the tickets. The actual dome experience was amazing. The views were spectacular.

The hot weather plus the unclear policies of dress code, we couldn't go in. Waste of money!!! They don't allow shorts to my son and husband !! That is why everyday there are less catholics. They are not clear and then they send you to buy some kind of wind breakers. They seem to me they are doing a parallel business

I missed the email that contained the tickets which created some confusion at the Duomo. Otherwise, we had a great time.

The Duomo was beautiful and the entrance was easy to find. Be prepared for 90 steps up after the lift and more steps to exit. Be sure to time your visit early enough in the day so you get to see everything.

The time stamped on all of my documentation was 6:00 PM we arrived at 5:45 only to find out that the tour departed at 5:15 - no email, text or even message was sent through the app correcting this . Very upset that I spent a ton of money for this to happen . This ruined my day in Milan.
