Lou was an outstanding guide. She was knowledgeable about the history and current events of the city. She provided a terrific sample of historic buildings and the history of them. We were together for four hours. She introduced us to a great store and restaurant where we enjoyed a cold drink and rest before continuing. She introduced us to the metro and bus service saving us some steps when we were tired and at the end of our tour. In addition she shared the name of a restaurant that was excellent!

Our guide was Alex, and it was such a great walking tour of the city! He met us at our hotel, and we covered a lot of CDMX, which gave us an excellent overview of the city. We stopped at an amazing street taco spot, visited historical sites, and explored some really cool shopping areas. Alex was an incredible guide — informative, friendly, and full of interesting facts and local insights. He even sent us lunch restaurant recommendations after the tour had ended. Highly recommend!

Our guide, Marisol, was beyond what we expected. The tour she gave was extremely insightful. She helped create number of plans prior to our trip that already showed her thoughtful, friendly, and respectful personality. Roberto was a fabulous tour guide! We planned a 3 hour custom tour. Communications prior to our tour date with him was very strong. He proactively reached out several times and was extremely responsive. He also met us at our hotel. We had previously told him (via WhatsApp) what we were interested in seeing to ensure that it was part of his plan. We went to historic downtown and from the moment we met him, we knew the experience would be terrific, especially with his anthropology background and expertise! We learned so much about Mexico’s past and present and Mexico City itself. We loved the fact that our conversation with him was engaging throughout, covering a wide range of topics spanning history. He took us to several notable buildings, landmark locations, historical sites, museums, church/cathedral, and of course city center. He was flexible, accommodating, super pleasant and extremely professional. In fact, we enjoyed our time so much together that after our tour was over, we invited him to join us for lunch! Would highly recommend this experience - and ask for Roberto!!!
We’re delighted to hear you had such a fantastic experience with Roberto. It’s great to know his strong communication, flexibility, and deep knowledge of Mexico City’s history and anthropology made your custom tour so engaging and memorable.
Alex was a wonderful, entertaining, deeply knowledgeable, passionate guide. We hit the ground running and he was game with all our ideas. Didn’t even blink when we asked if we could take the subway instead of an Uber to get the full local experience. He showed us to several amazing street taco vendors as well - well off the tourist beaten path. We learned an incredible amount of Mexican history. Alex truly possess a wealth of information about culture, history, architecture, and food. We booked this last minute and really lucked out - it was so much fun and he had interesting commentary everywhere we went. DO NOT MISS THIS - it will lay the foundation of a well-informed trip to Mexico City that every conscientious tourist should partake in.
We’re especially glad the experience gave you a deeper understanding of Mexico City beyond the surface. Having that cultural and historical context can really shape the rest of your trip in a meaningful way. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you again in the future.
Roberto was great guide. We switched our itinerary because of celebrations in the central area to go through the Museum of archeology and Chapultepec park. He was super knowledgeable and loves the history and culture of Mexico. He also gave us great tips for the rest of our visit to Mexico City.
Mexico City can be especially lively during celebrations, so it sounds like a smart adjustment to head into the museum and Chapultepec Park instead. We’re glad the day still felt meaningful and enjoyable despite the shift, and we hope the rest of your time in Mexico City was just as memorable.
