Thirty minutes before the tour begins, our pick-up service will arrive at your hotel to ensure you're all set to explore the city.
The tour starts in the historic foundational area, the original heart of Mendoza before the devastating earthquake of 1861. Here, you'll find the Ruinas de San Francisco, the remains of a 17th-century Jesuit church. These ruins are a poignant reminder of the city’s colonial heritage and serve as a symbol of Mendoza's resilience and rich history.
Next, we head to the vibrant downtown area, with Plaza Independencia at its core, surrounded by four satellite squares: San Martín, España, Italia, and Chile. Plaza Independencia, Mendoza's central square, is a lively gathering spot, often hosting cultural events and offering a beautiful central fountain, making it a perfect place to experience the local atmosphere.
The tour then heads to the expansive Parque General San Martín, one of Argentina's largest urban green spaces and the highlight of Mendoza's recreational area. Entering through the iconic gates on Avenida Emilio Civit, the tour takes you through El Rosedal, a stunning rose garden showcasing a variety of species, and Lago General Espejo, a serene lake that adds to the park's charm. The journey culminates at Cerro de la Gloria, where you'll enjoy breathtaking views and see the monument dedicated to General San Martín and the Army of the Andes. Spanning over 400 hectares, the park, designed by renowned landscape architect Carlos Thays in the late 19th century, also features a zoo and several other attractions, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers.
Cerro de la Gloria, situated within Parque General San Martín, provides stunning panoramic views of Mendoza and the surrounding area. At its summit stands an impressive monument honoring General José de San Martín and the Army of the Andes, commemorating their role in South America's fight for independence. This is an excellent tour to get a good feel for Mendoza. The tour surprised me as we got to see so many beautiful parks and had free time in the largest one. My guide, Carolina, was the very best. She is a true professional and made this tour one of my favorites. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get to know Mendoza.
We were taken around the many beautifully decorated large city parks, significant landmarks and given relevant historic and social information, including how not to drop in the acequias inadvertently. Ramiro was a very congenial and asttentive guide.

The history of Mendoza is very beautiful, visiting the squares and tree-lined streets is sensational, I didn't expect such a beautiful place. Our guide Carol demonstrated great knowledge and love for what she does, we really enjoyed it
Against all odds, I did it on the last day (already having toured the city alone) and realized that it is key to be explained and commented on what you see. Very nice excursion. I went for the Tasting Enterprise and got $760. It can be done for free with buses that take out the municipality on Saturdays and Sundays (they have a unique tour and you can get off in one place and get on another collective later) very cute

Fleeting sight we went and came back in the day. We get off at the airport, take an Uber/Cabifi, get off at the pedestrian. We got on the Citybus and had a great day.

Very good price, and is about 4 hrs. long. Great overview of the city, driver was punctual, and very well organized. At the end, Gloria did very nice dinner recommendations.
