The Memorial Arch at Eastern View is one of the most iconic landmarks along the Great Ocean Road. Built to honor the World War I servicemen who constructed the road between 1919 and 1932, the arch stands as both a historic monument and a symbolic gateway to the Great Ocean Road. It’s a popular stop for travelers to take photos and learn about the road’s remarkable history.

Kennett River, located along the Great Ocean Road, is one of the best spots to see wild koalas in their natural habitat. A short walk along Grey River Road takes you into the eucalyptus forest, where koalas are often spotted resting in the trees. The area is also home to vibrant parrots and rosellas, offering travellers a chance for close wildlife encounters and beautiful photos.

Apollo Bay, known as the “Heart of the Great Ocean Road,” is a charming seaside town nestled between the Southern Ocean and the lush Otway Ranges. It’s a popular stop for travellers to relax, enjoy fresh seafood, stroll along the sandy beach. Stop here for lunch.( At own expense).

The Twelve Apostles are iconic limestone stacks along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria, Australia. Formed by millions of years of wind and ocean erosion, these dramatic rock pillars rise majestically from the Southern Ocean. Best viewed at sunrise or sunset, they are the most famous landmark of the Great Ocean Road.

Admission not included40 min

Loch Ard Gorge, located near the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road, is a stunning natural gorge named after the ship Loch Ard, which tragically wrecked here in 1878. With only two survivors, the shipwreck story adds a dramatic history to this breathtaking location.
